You can use Gibbed on the 360? Can you show me a guide?android654 wrote...
If you're on the pc or 360, why replay ME1? Just use Gibbed to flag all of the ME1 stuff.
All you'll need is a thumb drive. Follow the stpes in the link below.

That is so handy. Thank you!

Use the mining laser on Therum, get on the elevator in the ruins. Get off the elevator, but DON"T TALK to Liara. Save, then reload that save and you get an amount of Xp. Save again in a new spot and reload and it boosts your xp up.
Takes a very long time and it's very tedious, but it's faster than going through the game several times.
LOL or you could just gibbed... takes 10 minutes.

Yes, I know that line.MegaBadExample wrote...
Data, you know those lines are in the script "I've always loved you." Bioware can't make two romances with this. So it's gotta come clashing together, making Ashley OOC.
Doesn't say it's going to be used by Ash talking to f!Shep. Keep in mind half of the script is missing - and there are multiple ways to go to the same event.
So lets hope Ash won't say that line if f!Shep romances her.
I can see, however, that line happening if m!Shep talks to her, regardless if he romanced Ash in ME1 or not. There's a high chance Ash felt something in ME1 if not romanced (okay, if you treated her like dirt, it's very unlikely).
Slightly related with MBE's post.makenzieshepard wrote...
I always hated that you didn't get a hug if you wern't in a relationship. I mean sure some of my femsheps will end up in romantic relationship with Ash but even the ones who didn't would've definitely given her a hug on Horizon. They were best friends!
I think that entire Horizon scene shows Ashley didn't love f!Shep at that time. No hug is a bit lame, I mean, it's not even considered as unmanly if two dudes hug each other if one believed the other one was dead / crippled / taken out for months. It's unusual, but not unmanly.
So Ash & f!Shep definitely should have shared a hug.
Lets say I concur with MBE in a way that I dislike the "I always loved you" asspull. It would come out of nowhere and virtually destroy most progress of a romance. BAM! I love you!.
It's most likely VS, Liara, Team Dextro and the new guys - since they all can (but don't have to be - exception Vega / Liara) be part of the Normandy's crew for large parts of the story. Miranda, Jack, Thane and Jacob just get some mails and few (or just one) mission at all - and they're not part of the crew. So yeah ... you get the picture.android654 wrote...

im sorry but the Ash romance is better than the Miri one. i have turned
Pretty much this. Even without reading the script, it's easy to see that the VS and Liara were going to have the best conclusions to the romance arcs. I just like Jack to much to switch my cannon Shepard. So the one I used for MIranda will just go back to Ashley.
It's unfair towards ME2!fans, especially since their characters get sidelined for the new guys. Think they can swallow the ME1!LIs, but they definitely feel "betrayed" by BW because of the introduction of new LIs on expense of the old ME2!LIs.
I doubt that image can be used as evidence. After all, the CGI movies won't make it into the game - or only as "screensaver" if you don't push the button (like in ME2).Complistic wrote...

Is it possible to initiate a romance Ashley even if you didn't have her as an LI in ME1?
I'm pretty sure it is.

By the way, have you guys already been all over this and I'm just now catching up, concerning the game-day DLC "From Ashes"? Here's a pretty funny and very good summary of the issue. Contains slight spoilers.

Got the CE Edition, therefore it's part of my game anyway ...
Also catching up, but almost through it. No signs of said topic yet.
Okay, I'm done. No signs.
@ MBE: don't miss my catching up posting some posts above this one ^^

My awesome wife pre-bought me the CE too for Christmas so it doesn't affect me personally, but it really bugs me on behalf of everyone who it does affect and I do think it's below-the-pale. Leaving out content critical to the game full well knowing that most people won't want to be without it and will just suck up the $10 to have the complete experience.
In the military we would call this "tactically smart, strategically stupid" in that if they go through with this, they almost suredly will receive more revenue from the game than they would otherwise - at the downside of leaving a bad taste in everyone's mouth for having been treated that way, which will cost Bioware some of its fan base.

Lets say I don't know what we'll see in that DLC. It's about Prothy, right?
Now I'd say without that DLC, the game still works. However, Prothy is just doing the story-essential stuff and that's it. With that DLC that character gets expanded - the game works without too.
Actually, I'd like to see something similar for sidelined ME2!characters. It's more fluff than anything, but completes the experience. Quite different to what had happened in ME2: most of this part's significance is caused by two DLCs: LotSB and Arrival. Both DLC basically construct the setting for ME3 while vanilla!ME2 itself is almost insignificant (except Mordin's story).
So to speak.

So... I'm wondering how Bioware will handle this faithful reward they mentioned.
extra line of dialogue knowing how they work.
Ha, probably.
Did you read the MShep/ Kaidan dialogue that's floating around. The VS are straight, but only turns bisexual for Shepard. They're basically Shepard sexual. Kaidan and manShep have some big awkward talk about I'm a man and your a man, in which, Shepard brings up marriage.
I'm actually expecting marriage now for that reward for staying faithful.
So... This is what Bioware games has come to now, has it?
Who's first out the door after me3?
Oh come on... aren't you looking forward to experiencing even more generalized and interchangeable dialogue and interaction because BW is trying to please everyone?
