I doubt that image can be used as evidence. After all, the CGI movies won't make it into the game - or only as "screensaver" if you don't push the button (like in ME2).

How do you think I feel mate? I'm getting ME3 as a birthday present to myself.

That would have happened if Joker hadn't interrupted.

No Balls = No cute Shepley babies
Still not entirely convinced my Shepard would be the best father, he's a noble paragon but also incredibly by the book and pragmatic, not great with emotions. I can see it now.
Garrus: Hey Shepard, how's the new baby coming along?
Shepard: Honestly I love her but I have more then a few problems with her.
Garrus: Like what?
Shepard: *deep breath*. Okay first of all I've only known her for a few weeks and frankly other then a fondness for Ashley's breasts the two of us have nothing in common. She is one of only two people ever to throw up on me and I still haven't spoken to Grunt since that Martigra, further more I don't think she looks like me so evolutionarily that makes me want to eat her.* Basically what I'm saying is, I love my child but I'm grateful I live on a ship where other people can raise her for me while I save the galaxy.
Garrus: Is that why my new official title on the Normandy is 'wet nurse'?
Shepard: In a nutshell, yes.
*Yes this was a paraphrase of a quote from 30 rock, good for you if you picked that up.
EDIT: Top Ash:
Also in regards to Ashley/Shepard apologizing. I think Ashley really does have more call to apologize for reacting negatively to Shepard on Horizon. Admittedly Shepard came across as an idiot on Horizon but Ashley really didn't give him much of the time or day to explain what was going on.
I think Ashley does need to properly apologize sincerly for Horizon, afterwards maybe Shepard can be not neccessarily apologetic but remorseful at least when he remembers how much Ashley went through after his death.
That said while I do expect tension and some kind of emotional reconnecting moment between Ashley and Shepard, all Ashley will ever need to do to win back my Shepard is flash those lovely brown eyes of hers at him and maybe flutter her eyelashes a bit. I already have forgiven Ash for everything, but I still think for the sake of story that an apology is needed.

I have always felt that my Shep after saving the Galaxy would retire. I mean once you have defeated the most deadly enemy in the Galaxy whats the thrill of routine missions.
After leaving the Alliance he would find some farm on a Traverse colony and start a family. So he would be a great father and husband. Although this is when I see my Shep and Ash go their separate ways because Ash would never leave the Alliance not even for Shep. Also I don't think a long distance thing would work out.
Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in cause I have a different view of Ash and Sheps relationship.
This. according to the FFTL thread later dialogue's prove the VS is only interest in being with the same gender when it's shepard. Ashley won't have eyes for Liara, Miranda, Tali, just Femshep when it comes to Women. so she's prety much Shepard sexual!oh brother wrote...

I
don't see why. A good friend of mine had a boyfriend, they broke up and
she went out with a girl. She did not define herself as gay, or
straight, or bi, she just said you love who you love. It happens.

I think I see my Shep staying in the alliance, maybe as an admiral or something (not so much action). So Ash would still be around.
Or else he would help to rebuild whatever good is salvagable from Cerberus, but that would be more likely with Miranda.

My shep will retreat to a safe, sheltered place, of which only his close friends will know and live there for a few years with Ash, maybe they'll start a family, but he is not a family man so that depends on whether Ash would take initiative.Telemachus78 wrote...

Yeah, that makes sense because each Shep is different sometimes even in different playthroughs of the same Shep.

Ash related:
So am I to understand that Ashley (and Kaidan) are now available to anyone? Any sex, any player regardless if you romanced them or not in ME1?
If so, I guess BW decided to take the DA2 route and just make a bunch of ambiguous squadmates in order to try and make everyone happy.
Squeaky wheels do get greased.
To try my hardest not to sound like a troll (although technically I am talking about the Ashley Williams character), I will post an Ash picture, nostalgic in nature as to remember her as a well developed character with a solid story.

I wholeheartedly agree. It's completely out of her character if you ask me. Sounds like some mega pandering to me, but again that's simply my opinion and I won't force it on anyone. Take it for what you will. So what next? Is her belief in God, her liking/quoting of poems, and all that jazz gonna go out the window too?
