I don't see the point of getting worked up about it. At least not at this point since the game isn't even out. It makes more sense to complain about it after you've completed the romance in ME3. I am hoping everyone (FemShep/Sheploo and Ash romancers) will all be pleasantly surprised.

For myself, I get nervous at any possibility of the conclusion of the Shep-Ash trilogy romance being disrupted in any way.  This has been five years in the making, with an awful, awful Horizon scene already souring things once.  I'm already nervous that having a "rekindled" and "new" romance may dilute the experience with copy/paste dialogue...

I understand this. I think a lot of VS fans are concerned after what happened in ME2. It was horrible. But from what I've heard, the romance with the VS is one of the best in ME3 so that makes me hopefully especially since I plan on romancing both of them  Now anyone who romanced ME2 squad mates (other than Tali and Garrus) apparently have some reasons to be concerned....

Same here. I just want to see how things work with Ash. Okay, Horizon didn't damage much for me, since every relationship comes with ups and downs ... I'm more worried that the original writer of Ash isn't in the team anymore. Buuut I read enough to feel convinced the conclusion of Ashley's romance will give us the best of Ash.


Uhh, and my Ash gets Widow + Boomstick.

The image above is exactly why I want her as a sniper.  But I am prefer her with a sniper in ME3 since I believe the playthroughs I kept her in I couldn't use snipers but could use shotguns. Gotta have that balance.

I don't think her religion has anything to do with it. She believes in God. That doesn't mean she's a christian or has a religious affiliation. Based on what she said, all we know is that she believes in God.

My problem with Ash going both ways in ME3 is that it was never even hinted at in ME1. It's very sudden and seems unrealistic, especially if she isn't attracted to other women, just Shepard. What the hell kinda twisted logic is that?

It's the lack of consistency game-to-game that bothers me. Ash was cast as a straight character. I think she should remain as such for the game's sake. I feel the same way about Kaiden.

Granted Shepard was a bit of a derp with his/her dialogue, but as a
whole I think it makes the romance plot ten times better. All that
tension and tempers flaring stuff will make the final romance plot of
ME3 that much better. I prefer how it is now for that reason plus I
think it fits in to Ash's personality more to be angry and lash out, I
don't see her being calm and understanding in that situation, it's just
not her, or kaidan for that matter.

Makes me look forward to the romance sub plot all that
much more knowing that at the start of ME3 there is still that trust
issue between them. Both my cannon manshep and femshep have stayed loyal to the VS, so I am especially happy that from what I've heard (avoiding spoilers at all costs) they have strong romances.

That is what I've heard too. And if that is true, it totally makes up for Horizon.

I thought she'd be worse after the "Come with me Ash, it'll be just like old times." line. She was pretty calm after that considering what I expected.

Something along the lines of: "Old times? Have you even heard a word I've said?! You show up here after all this time, with Cerberus, and that's all you have to say?! Those days are long gone Shepard, and you're obviously not the same man I thought you were. You go and do what you need to do Shepard, and I'll do the same, but with the Alliance, I still know where my loyalties lie.."

Somthing like that, I'm no writter...
