She's handled by a different person than the guy who wrote her in ME1. Her character could be completely butchered. Sylvianus hopes that isn't the case.

In my opinion... Let's just say I preferred ME1 Ashley to ME3 Ashley. ME3 Ashley makes me want to flay her alive. ME1 Ashley was someone I could become friends with, in spite of her flaws.

I still say that going by the dialogue found in the leaked script, especially romance, I think the Ashley we know and love is still in there. I don't see any reason to believe that all that dialogue got pushed out.
And again all Ashley does is awkwardly ask if Shepard, having prior experience with Cerberus, might have any idea what's going on. That's not the same as yelling 'YOU ARE HITLER/STALIN/OSAMA BIN LADEN/KIM JONG IL ALL ROLLED INTO ONE!!'

Regardless of whatever anyone has read in any leaked script, it's not the same as being fully voiced in the actual game. I'll hold off judgment until I've played it, but I don't think I have anything to worry about.

No, but you can form a fairly accurate impression from the dialogue alone.

I have never been able to leave Ashley behind, i always knew there would be tension between Shepard and Ashley. lucky for me, i stayed faithful. i got my friend to get the paramour achievement for me. she has a maleshep with Miranda. barely two weeks left, is everyone just as excited as I am. my friend chucked duct tape over my mouth the other day to shut me up about it. which she then taped to most of my body for fun which i still have to get payback for.

Indeed. Kimberly Brooks (but also Raphael Sbarge) gave the player the illusion of two fictional characters being real beings. And that's some major skill here.
Some others did a great job too, but Kim is one of the best ...

Indeed, I als read into it that she might've been playing with the thought that Cerberus was still tracking Shepard somehow, which would also be a valid concern if you ask me. I like the slight tention between them, it makes sense after Horizon.

I finished Virmire today, and Feros for that matter.
I had the chance to negotiate a peace with Wrex, but i wanted to see what would happen if i went with the normal paragon option on the right and decided to live with my choice.
Wrex was the most amazing krogan, squadmate and a mentor to my Shepard and i panicked the moment he was hit from behind.
But to my amazement, i settled with with my mistake as the camera zoomed in to Ashley.
That scene was just so beautiful. I couldn´t stand the sound of Wrex as Ashley cold-bloodedly pulled the trigger... But at the same time, i totally fell in love with Ashley.

One of the truly best moments of Mass Effect along with Vigil and the Suicide Mission.

So you keep the save with a dead Wrex - or did you reload and saved him?

Sure: Ashley killed Wrex to protect her CO. And she shoot more than once at Wrex to ensure he stays dead - after all we know Krogans can survive a lot of sh*t. Who knows, half of the Krogans Shepard "killed" could actually have survived ...

I fell for Ashley far earlier - her smile when giving her a compliment or two how she handled herself on Eden Prime. And being one of the most useful squadmates helped a lot. At least for "squishy" classes she's the best tank, even better (but less versatile) than Wrex.

Thing about Vermire situation is that Wrex was about to shoot Shepard to save a cure for genophage and Shepard was defending him/herself .. and thing about Ashley is that she would protect Shepard no matter what.

If there is anyone guilty of shooting Wrex .. It's those noob players who didn't had Wrex's, Ash's trust.

I agree completely. If you do his loyalty mission before Virmire then you don't even need paragon/renegade checks. Just be nice and he backs down.

I've been an Ashley fan since ME1 and i'm stoked she is back full time in three but I just saw the Mars mission gameplay on IGN ** Spoiler alert** and she really isn't letting Shepard working for Cerberus go. Ash kept questioning Shep why Cerberus got there so quick and that Shepard might have tipped them off when obviously he was shooting them. I can understand her suspicion but I hope this isn't going to be a common theme throughout the game and eventually she lets it go.

I consider any info like that, even them talking about the Prothean, a spoiler.  But, I had never heard about the VS Mars thing until now.  Where did they say this?

I am more pissed at myself as I know I shouldn't be on a game forum before release!  My own fault!
