It was great to hear Ashley's voice again in the ME3 demo. She was my favorite character in ME1, so, yeah... very excited to have her back. I also really like her new look. Regardless of what people think of the actual design, you can't deny that people change over time.

She's a more mature Ashley.

I stayed loyal when romancing Ash. And when romancing Liara too, but I wasn't really compelled by the ME2 romances, they didn't feel quite as real to me.
