[Totally Not Swaggacide]

I romanced Ash in ME1 and Miranda in ME2 I love them both so much. I'm trying to decide for ME3 but I keep going back and forth

With twelve characters, I have all the human romance options twice, one "reserved" and one for Liara.
But yeah, my main male Shepards were romancing Ash. And by romancing, I mean I stayed faithful, loyal, whatever the word is, as I consider that being part of the romance.

It was good, but if i can suggest instead of:

Shepard: shush.  to  Shepard: "Look out ,avoids explosion".
Ashley: *hears a sound too.*Does that sound...?  to  Ashley: What was that?
Shepard: A hell of a lot like an Atlas.*goes to nearby window and peers out*  to  Shepard: Sounded a hell of a lot
like an Atlas.*goes nearby to look*
Ashley:*joins him,* Oh...shi-! to the same.
Shepard:*tackles her to the ground to avoid hail of bullets*  to  Shepard:*tackles her to the ground to avoid hail of
bullets and explosion*
Ashley: What the fu-!  to the same.
Shepard:B!tch later!Bolt now!  to  Ashley; Talk later! Bolt now.

What do you think, better?

Different LI. What (my)Shepard and Ashley had was great, but two years apart, and a not so pleasant reunion has put a serious damper on things. The romantic level of their relationship is pretty much FUBAR at this point, but I hope we can still be friends.

Ashley is so beautiful and amazing. I REALLY hope we can get past the events of Horizon because I know neither of them have forgotten it. I love Ashley so I have forgiven her.

My main Shep stayed faithful.

I never got all worked up over Horizon. I didn't expect Ashley to drop everything and join me, honestly. In ME1, she was legitimately assigned to my ship. Getting angry was a natural reaction, IMO. She just didn't understand what was going on. The whole thing was very emotional, so it was understandable. To me, anyway. And she pretty much apologized anyway. I don't expect either one of them to really need grovelling in order to let it go.

There is also the issue that apparently Shepard is a bit of an insensative jerk, in a way. Not even an email? And if you play as a "spacer" background, you find out he doesn't even send his own mother notification that he's alive...

Shepard and Ash were both idiots. Ash for being so emotional and not letting Shepard get a word in edge-wise, and Shepard for being so incomprehensibly stupid for even SUGGESTING Ash should come with him while he's working with a terrorist cell. The same one he went to great lengths in the last one to trample on every experiment of theirs.

We can blame bad writing, they can't. In my headcanon, Shepard had intellectually processed the fact that he was dead, and brought back, but he hadn't full processed it on an emotional level. In all probability he refused to accept and believe it. At least not til Ash give him that verbal kick in the balls...

*sigh* Ain't that the truth, Aurora. Definitely what my Shepard was doing after Horizon on Omega, Dark Star Lounge, and the Normandy lounge after K:SM was released.

Yeah. Horizon was enough to turn my Shepard into an alcoholic again. And that's a very dark and painful road for him (specially since he's been sober for eight years).

You can blame the writing...or figure that's just how people are. Sometimes we just don't react well. Like I said, at least Ash apologized if romanced. For someone like her, I can see it being a big deal that he didn't try to get in touch. Plus working with a known enemy. He might not have processed that he'd actually been dead, but intelligently, he knew it had been two years. And I could swear something in the dialog before Horizon made me think that he had been back for at least a couple of months before this point.
