Let me guess, you want them to say their vows amid mortal combat aboard the bridge of the Normandy as it burns around them before miraculously emerging victorious a la 'At World's End'

  I could really do without further Twilight-ification of one of the better game universes please

however the Japanese do make a wide array of games that cater to those particular appetites

I never thought of them as the "get married as soon as possible" kinda couple. Maybe in the long run, but not immediatly after the Reaper wars. For my Shepard it wouldn't feel right to marry when the galaxy is still in complete chaos, plus he'll be in no state to enjoy it as much as he feels he should, with all the emotional baggage he gathered throughout the ME trilogy,

I think they'd wanna take things slow, they'd like to have a moment of rest first, get to know each other and live with each other in a time the entire galaxy isn't at stake. Only after that do I see them considering it.

I liked the Mar's combat dialogue, particularly how defensive and annoyed Shepard was, followed by the tone of Ash's voice changing to a softer kind of reassuring tone. I feel like the two of them are gonna be walking a razor's edge with each other and maybe being overly sensitive and defensive to certain comments for a while.

Yeah and it's only natural since Ashley doesn't know the extent of Shepard's work with Cerberus. When I watched it even I said "Ashley..." in an annoyed voice

Williams is such a generic name and she loves Shepard so I don't see her keeping her name

I've avoided the demo and most of the previews, but I think I'd be more upset if Ash weren't a little peeved/wary with Shepard over the Cerberus connections. Her e-mail suggests that she's still in love with him, but I would also expect her to have quite a few mixed emotions at first.

Anyway: SO looking forward to working with Ash again in a little over a week. Unfortunately, I have a "new" character that I want to use as my first play through for ME3. He romaced Ash, and if things had gone according to plan, I'd be ready for ME3 now.

Sadly, my computer was down for just over a month late last year due to having to deal with the worst computer virus I've ever seen infect one of my rigs. I was in the middle of my "perfect" ME1 playthrough at the time, which means I lost an entire month of game time. I'm working my way through ME2 right now, and I fear I won't be finished by the time ME3 arrives on my doorstep.

I'm honestly thinking of getting up at 4 or 5 in the morning on Saturday and just playing ME2 straight through the entire day, in an attempt to get everything wrapped up and ready to go for the ME3 release. I want Ash on my squad again...

Indeed. I definitely want a proposal scene right before the final battle. Of course, only for those who had Ash romanced in ME1 and didn't move on in ME2.

I think Ashely is one of the more interesting squaddies. Speaks her mind and makes no apologies for it. I do wonder how tense things will be when she works with Shepard again (and how she'll react if Shep DID give the collector base to Cerberus.)
