It's really great to see a new fan's reactions to things that Ashley does that they may have never seen before. Kinda takes you back to when you first did a playthrough with Ash as the LI. 

Hell, Minty... feel free to say much more about that convo (and anything else) than you did! XD

It just brings new caracter to ME1 to see someone grounded in reality and focused on family and what really matters besides just stopping Saren, because just cause ur at war dosent mwan your life back home stops.

also not to start a flame war but the fact she has faith astounds me, as it triggered a deeper thought in me, what wuld I believe if I was in the ME universe, no caracter as stirred this much thought in a while.

@Minty: To be honest, the reason I first fell in love with Ash's character was because I could relate to her. We're both the oldest of four, we believe in God, we read poetry.... Even though there are plenty of differences (like the fact that I'm painfully less awesome), there are some core aspects of Ash that make her absolutely believable for me. There's no other Bioware character quite like her.

Sigh... other site I go on, the Escapist, has made another thread about what characters in games you hate and inveitably there was a recurring phrase which always included the words:
"Ashley."
"Racist."
"B*tch."
"Nuked."

Now I'm in a bad mood, thank god for this thread though. I seriously joined the Bioware Social Network just so that I could socialize in one space where I could proudly say:
'I like Ashley!'
Without getting flamed and without having accusations thrown at me about how I must be secretly racist or carefully considered responses about how Tali/Liara/Miranda is sooo much better and therefore I'm obviously a (insert insensitive remark here) for picking Ashley.

So I guess what I'm saying is, if I had never found this thread, I'd still be tearing my hair out in frustration on a daily basis due to the League of Extraordinary Morons I have to deal with on a regular basis on other sites. So thank you Ash fans.

Also, good morning to you Badpie. It's actually close to midnight over here in Australia but all the same, morning all.

I must say I'm absolutely loving your 'Untitled Effect' FanFic so far. I finally got a chance to start reading it & didn't stop until going from chapter 1 to 15.

Don't know if I said it before, but I really love your artwork! Don't stop!

Now, as some may have seen, I've been fooling around with images lately. One of the things I've done is made some Ash support medals. (nothing too fancy) I recently started putting them out, as a fun, light-hearted way of showing some appreciation for what the fellow Ash fans do. It may seem a little on the hokey/cheesy side, but it's just been for the fun of it, so treat it as you will.
So, without further adieu, let me throw out a few this fine morning.

I know perfectly well he's a devoted Ashley fan. But I also know that he's had serious disagreements with other people --which he's so far had the maturity to remain civil about in the forums, to my knowledge-- and those people are usually the ones who use the serious "Give it to me straight" banner. I do not think it takes a too great or unreasononable leap to derive a feeling of not so subtle mockery from that.

If I am mistaken, I'd like to hear it from the horse's mouth --as it were.
