Shepard:(sighs) "God damnit...."
Ashley: "You okay skipper?"

Shepard: "Yeah, it's just...this is the third time in my life that i've seen a planet get razed like this.....Mindior, Elysium. You'd think it'd get easier to deal with but it's actually the opposite. Despite everything i've done fighting Saren, Soveriegn, Harbinger, hell even working with Cerberus, was to avoid what happened here today, but it didn't matter... I'm tired of seeing good people die Ash.... I'm tired of seeing death in the sky...”

Ashley: “Then let's do something about it Shepard. This war isn't over yet,'and though we are not now that strength which in old days Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts, Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will To strive, to seek, to find, and never to yield .'”

Shepard:(chuckles)“Still quoting Tennyson eh chief?"
Ashley:(Smirks) “Some things never change skipper.”
Shepard: (smiling softly) “You're right,” (touches her cheek) “They don't...”

*They move to kiss*

Joker*over the intercom*: “Hey Ash, Shepard, I've got Admiral Hackett requesting to speak with you immediately.”

*They stare at the intercom dumbfounded*

Shepard: “Okay, now that's just uncanny...”
Ashley:(facepalming) “Some things never change...”

 Holy crap, was that Wrex in the trailer?! I thought you couldn't get him as a squaddie! You don't even need armour with him and Ash on your team, everything will just start dying

I loved the Launch trailer. Especially the Ashley parts. It all seemed a bit Mirandish to me but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

That's not the impression that I got from her and shepard's meeting on earth. especially with the "Welcome back Shepard." part on the Normandy.

I really like the story its just I don't like when Ashley calls him John since my Shepard has my name (Malcom).
But it's your story so I can't judge

I just like the John Shepard name it sounds better than my own (Which is Will by the way).

Nearly had a heat attack last night had to buy a new Xbox 360 (My old one was the orginal 360 I bought when they first came out - Still works but it keeps crashing) and I allmost lost my gamer tag in the transfer. I couldn't remember the windows live ID I had set it up on all those years ago. All my Achivements and my saves ALL OF MASS EFFECT play throughs locked away so i couldn't use them. Luckly I was able to transfer it back to the old Xbox so I could look up the ID in Account settings.

For all you Xbox 360 gamers out there my Gamer tag is SmoothWill. I'll send request to those of you who have listed your Gamer Tags already. It will be great to play ME3 with you guys in the Ashley Thread.

Ashley: Don't feel to excited. Being the Quartermaster is a tough job. Someone needs to clean and repair our weapons, armore ... and I heard you're a quite capable technician.
Michael: But never did duty in any military-
Ashley: Who cares? You're not part of our ground team, so it's okay. Just fix the guns and we're fine. John - give than man a tour.
Shepard: I thought you would do it?
Ashley: Uhh ... sure. Whatever. Michael ... just follow me.
Michael: Of course ...

*a few days later*

Michael: She said I wouldn't go down and fight! Damnit, how to shoot those things?!
Garrus: Just point with that end at the enemy and push the trigger!
Shepard: I knew it was a mistake to pick this dude ...
Michael: Told you I'm no soldier!
Shepard: I know, I know! Now stop complaing and shoot!
