The whole fan petition for a better ending(s) for ME3 is a joke. I personally have not read any spoilers or watched any walkthroughs, and I don't plan on doing so. I'm perfectly content waiting for the game to come out before I start critisizing it.

And by the way, is it really a fan's place to say that the people who are providing them with the games that they love so much are stupid before they've even played the effin' game? I mean really, people, come on!

That would be like asking Christopher Nolan to change the ending to the Dark Knight so that Harvey "Two Face" Dent could live. It would take a monumental amount of effort to complete, and it would ruin the mixed, complex ending that was meant to happen. Some fans might be happy, but the rest of us would know that it was simply the film makers giving in to the 2% of fans that spoke the loudest!

A similar act with ME3 would only make all of the original endings(that may very well be very good in their own right, mind you) weaker because we would know that they've been "Fixed.", and would take away from the expereince. It would substantially reduce the intense emotional impact of the endings, and pervert the true purpose of the game; which is to provide a highly entertaining experience that feels so real.

So please don't eff with it now people, and don't place ME3 on such a high pedestal. Just take it for what it is.

I apologise for getting off topic, and I have to remember that this forum is for Ash only.  i just wanted to get that across to people.

This is too far. I'm all for bioware taking feedback but this is ridiculous. ultimately this is their game and as much as we enjoy playing it we have no right to gtell them how their universe should end. If you don't like the endings someone spoiled for you don't buy the game, there are millions of other people who will in your place.

Hehehe.  Yeah I like the idea of other people commenting on your relationships.  From what we're hearing there is a lot more of crew comraderie and interaction and stuff.  This pleases me.

All this "have a better ending" talk has totally scarred the crap out of me right now .. and the game isn't even out yet ..

So, Am I to expect Shepard's death or a travel to galaxies far, far away leaving everyone else behind like Revan in Kotor did? Or is it just Talimancers crying because you can't reproduce with a tin can .. seriously this just pisses me off .. serves me right for coming here!!!

I mean .. one thing is to be pissed once you finish the game .. guess it's ok when you don't find the ending satisfying .. but leak a spoiler or joke or whatever this is right before the release of an actual game?

I would love to beat a crap out of that bastard who opened his damn mouth ..

I'm a fan of Bioware games .. ME being on it's top .. but when I look back to the past .. Bioware never was really good with the endings ... and I though they would actually deliver properly this time

Now I have to live in fear of what's to come .. damn .. <_<

Just for a quick note:
We do have freedom of oppinion. You don't have to accept my oppinion or the oppinion of the guy who created the petition. You don't need to take part. And more important: I know it won't change anything. I mean, if elections would change something, they would be forbidden, so to speak.
It just gives the illusion of "we did something".

That's it.

Nothing else.

If we want to change anything in the game, we need to make a mod. Or write lengthy fanfictions & pull the headcanon card. I intend to do at least the fanfic part. Feel free to read it once I'm done ^^ It's of course Ashley related.
