During the "date" on the Citadel, Ashley says something about punshing out the next table dancing ****** that throws herself at Shepard. Now I wonder if she only said that, because I had something with Kelly in ME2 or does she always says that, regardless of who you romanced in ME2?

After not wanting to do anything but accuse shepard of being a traitor on horizon, not doing anything to recover shepards body, while liara and some random drell did it. Not even trying to talk to shepard while he was confined, then to doubt him on mars....right in the middle of a mission? unprofessional ,and proved to my shepard that he would never measure up in Ashley's eyes. Even if he decided to get back with her, she would just come up with some other reason to distrust him , and it wouldn't have worked.

I liked Ashley as a character, but she clearly did not love shepard.

There is nothing she would be able to do with Shepards body nor did she have any knowledge of that. She saw his body get spaced, she thought he was dead (so did everyone else)

And how can you expect a normal relationship after having believe the man she loved was dead and spending two years to get over it.

And she said she want to but was to scared to contact you.

So I say Ashley loves Shepard and in Mass Effect 3 it really shows

She could have at least made an attempt to make sure he had a proper burial. That is what people who love you do. Ask Samish.

Concerns about allegience = distrust. She proved she still regarded him a traitor.

I would have expected the trust and respect someone has for you when they proclaim love. She showed neither on  horizon , or at any time afterward. Her email looked more to me like she was trying to make herself feel better. Even after , all the reasons she stayed away from shepard were for herself. sorry , but that's how i see it. It was all about her... shepard freeking died and came back to wipe out the collector threat, and all she was worried about was how bad she felt.

And she said she want to but was to scared to contact you.

If you love someone , do you let them sit in a room , under house arrest and worry about going to prison without some support? hell i would do that for anyone i knew , i don't have to be in love with them.

Maybe you are right , but all her actions point to the fact that she is more concerned about how she feels then she ever was about shepard.

Conrad Verner would have taken a bullet for shepard, and proved it. Ashley? can't even bother to make a phone call.

Yea I guess it helps.  Its just to bad that they couldn't have found a better way to end this whole thing.  The biggest problem  have with the ending is that i wanted to see chepard live and move somewherenice with ashley.

Well, they certainly didn't muck up her romance in ME3. I am very satisfied with how it went.

The endings....not so much. I dunno about you guys, but I just made my own headcanon ending where they live happily ever after (more or less)

Was disappointed at the amount of Zaeed style dialogue for her, but when you actually got to talk to her the scenes were great. The last goodbye with her at the end was pretty sad considering the endings.

What happens when you're in a relationship with Ash but you choose NOT to take her on board the Normandy? I decided for one playthrough that I would do it like that (concern for safety, blah blah blah... even though nothing happens if you take her regardless) and I got an e-mail that she would be at the Citadel for the memorial of her brother-in-law. Despite that, she doesn't show up and it's only her sister in front of the pictures.

I believe the game considers you not to be in a relationship.

Same. That was my favorite ending since it provides long term peace, but they really need to add an epilogue or something. And they need to explain the Reaper's master AI more. Way too many question left open.

in the ending sequence where ashley gets out of normandy, to me looks like she is smiling a bit. Could be that she maybe pregnant with shepard's baby, or is that to much to hope for. What do you think guys and girls.

Haven't beat the game yet but in a few weeks there will probably be some stories on Fanfiction.net with an extremely happy ending for Shepard and Ashley. So I can't wait for that.

Well apparently in the current ending everyone (except Anderson) who hauls ass towards the Citadel portal gets killed by Harby's lazer. Of course, this is invalidated by the fact that at the end Ash will emerge from the Normandy (assuming you've got 5k+ EMS) and she's your LI.

So....yeah...I hate to bring the endings thing into this thread, but that's how it is. If I may make a suggestion, let's just not discuss the ending. At all. I mean, I'm surprised at how the BSN is replying to the matter maturely and all, but if we keep going over what happened to our LI's (In this case Ash) we'll just drive ourselves nuts.

That's my opinion on the matter, anyway

Played ME3. Loved the interaction with Ashley, didn't really care for the Zaeed-like dialogue, wish we had alittle more time to spend together, aside from the date, her sister and the drunk scene, but whatever. Romance scene was awesome, the only thing that would've made it better was if it was alittle bit more like the Liara romance scene, but again, whatever.

I won't get into the ending, since I hated it, but otherwise, it was a great game(Though the ending DID drag it down a lot, IMHO).
