My Shepard was reinstated into the Spectres in ME2.

First thing I did in ME2 after getting the inferior SR-2 was to head to the Citadel to meet with Councillor Anderson.

CHudson said himself that they have shown Ashley only in her Jacket outfit and its Alt CE version.

He has also said that Ash will have full armor and a helmet.

I know. I will only believe it when I see the first official screenshots of that promised armor too.

Like you I am worried about Ash.

the thing i like about this pic is that its so damn serious.obvious thats its sometime before the trial or probely when the ship is leaving but i really get a "oh boy, here we go....you ready"? vibe frm both of them in this pic.

That is one of the vibes I am getting.

I also have a feeling that there is some tension between the two as if they have absolutely no idea where they stand in regards to each other.

Here they are either ready to head to the trial or to escape earth from the reaper invasion. Back together again and no idea how to deal with that.

Their relationship was on a hold for how long now? It must be close to or even a little bit over 3 years. Ash told Shepard on Horizon that she loved him and that she almost ... Yeah what exactly did she do almost? That is the scary part, isn't it?

And now the reapers have invaded or the trial is about to start. No easy time to sort out their feelings for each other.

If it is the Mattock than it would place that picture just after he jumped aboard the ship before they flee earth.

Still my previous post stands. I believe that there is some tension between them.

if it is then its likely right after they leave earth.i kindve figured that much.i dont think ash and shepard meet up before the trial.i think the first time you see her is when she rescues you in the demo.

makes more sense by the way biowares plots usally play out.

That's a shame. I had hoped for a meeting with Ash in the Prologue were she tells him that she has to take him in or escort him to the trial. Would be a great opportunity for the first conversation (attempt to either repair their relationship or to break it off) between the two of them.

The council probably instructed Ashley to find and bring Shepard to the trail. (Spectres hunt sprectres.) It's the best way without violence, simply because of Shepard's personal history with Ashley. They used his weakness against him! Using Ashley on Shepard  is like....using kryptonite on superman.

but think like bioware and EA...the ppl who brought us ME2.

their not just makeing a game for us fans there makeing a game for new players more.a emotinal scene with ash in the very start may alienate and confuse new players.

think about it what would new players want from a introduction of a charecter something emotional and heartfelt from a charecter they dont know anything about or a scene where the hot mixed race chick flys down in a big ass ship guns blazeing?

They should give us that emotional opening with Ash if they don't want to alienate their already existing fanbase.

I am with Reed on this one. Make it happen. Ash is worth it.

I want to have that ... no I want to have these talks with her myself at the beginning of the game. I want to fix our relationship myself and don't want this to have happened behind the scenes.

I thought it was the Alliance putting Shepard on trial not the council, therefore the spectre status was not an issue. Especially since not all Shepards were re-instated as spectre's as well. I have one Shepard not re-instated.

Bioware won't let us down, this isn't Dragon Age. At least we get the characters we love back.
