Since you're at it, Raanz, can you tell me how to extract Ashley & Sheploo? I'm quite good with 3DSMax 8, so I can recreate some of Normandy's rooms and do a comic... (kinda).
Yep, you need to go grab Gildor's uModel utility, extract the pcc files and use ActorX importer to load into Max.

Oh my god, where the hell is Ashley just before the final battle?! I had chances to speak with almost everyone of the crew for the last time, except Ashley! Can't even find her...and she was the LI, so what a shame....
She's there, it took me a a few minutes to find her. She's standing outside on the street near some Alliance soldiers, near a building that you can enter to contact some of your former squadmates from ME2.

I loved that final conversation. So touching and heart breaking.

Yeah, she was my LI, I wonder what the conversation is like if she isn't your LI?

I am curious too, but after my first play through with Ash as my LI, I am finding it hard to do a playthrough were she isn't lol. Maybe when I eventually do a FemShep playthrough.

Just thought I'd stick my head in to say that, as a long time Ash fan, I thought Bioware delivered in spades.
I'm a guy who normally finds the notion of getting attached to a video game character pretty, well, pathetic actually. However from the get-go Ash was different. The brilliant writing and characterisation really drew me in, and I found myself liking her personality, not just her as a character. Between the games I found myself thinking of her occasionally, much like one would do with a long lost friend. To have her back in my team in ME3 was a genuinely pleasing moment. It felt like being reunited with that friend.
Now, I'm also not a fan of the overly wishy-washy pathos you get in some films or games that deal with relationships. I was sceptical I would react to any romantic lines in ME3 with anything other than a 'Ok, cool'. Imagine my surprise therefore when I actually felt a lump in my throat at some of the lines Ash and Shepard share. Here, for the first time in my gaming career, was genuine emotion playing out on my monitor. Finally, somehow, Bioware took, not what I thought I wanted, but what I actually wanted to say and gave me the ability to say it in situations that continue to resonant with me long after the game has finished and to a far greater degree than any other media I can think of. I laughed. I smiled. I'm not ashamed to say I got a little misty eyed in places.
To say 'I love you' and to feel like your character means it is impressive writing. To say 'I love you' and to feel the emotion of that moment yourself is, well, I'm kind of lost for words, to be honest.
When Ash said "I don't want you to leave" that last time in London I finally realised that I, as a person, didn't want to leave either.
Well done, Bioware.
Well done.
I concur, that last bit of dialouge in london ...it made me stop and second and go do i really want to do this?? I did feel despite everything else Ash's romanace didnt make feel like Dale Arden from the Flash Gordon movies there was emotion not "Flash/Shepard I love you but we have 6 hours to save the earth"

Yeah I can't possibly play my original Shep without Ash being the LI, and I only have 1 other Shep that has been through ME1 and ME2, and I killed Ashley on that playthrough, since I was using FemShep, and Kaidan was my LI.

I'm going through both my Ashley-romanced Joseph Shepard and my main FemShep Diana who saved Ash right now, and I sorta have to concure with these assessments - there really doesn't seem to be as much content with her character as there was with Kaidan on the Normandy or with interacting with other characters. Also, and this is gonna sound odd.... but it kinda bugs me that there really doesn't seem like much distinction between a romanced Ashley and a non-romanced Ashley outside of a few additional dialogue snippets here and there (it also shocks me that a non-romanced Kaidan seems to have an easier time retrusting a male Shepard than a romanced Ashley does)
Also, where is her humor? I know characters can change and all, but dang, that was one of the things I rather like about her in ME1, but here in ME3, it doesn't really seem to be there. (from what I've seen so far)
The humour department was taken over by EDI and Garrus, with Javik a temporary staffer.
But it's almost as though it was assumed that players would kill Ash during the Council mission, and they just disregarded her character after. It was disappointing to see the person I'd served the longest with completely thrown off the track. You'd think with all that history, and all that tension on Mars, there'd be a little more than simply, "Commander". Of course it was hilarious when she was drunk, and upper corner FemShep dialogue options were absolute gold, but that isn't really enough for her character.

I only have playthroughs where i remained loyal to Ash, never cheated, though supposedly there were supposed to be consequences if you did cheat. Anyone know what those were?

Ashley was still amazing in ME3. I absolutely loved her, all the conversations with her were great. I always bring her on all my missions (except when she is in the hospital obviously). The romance dialogue and scene were phenomanol so was the farewell on Earth. I was sad when I saw her in the flashback knowing it was the last time my Shepard would see the love of his life, but I know they will meet again.
I think I asked this earlier, but got no response, what exactly was the flashback? Was it a flashback from ME1? I don't remember it, and I romanced Ashley all the way through ME1 and ME3.
Also did the farewell on Earth.
Of course it was really late at night and I was pissed at the ending so that's probably all I could think about then.

When you make you decision at the end you see a flashback of Joker, Anderson, and Ashley if you romanced her

Oh ok, I think I saw it then. The ending kinda happened so fast after that.

Thanks, I'll give it a try tonight. Won't animate anything, just a testpic or two ...
Just for the info: I had Ash & Liara in my final assault - and now I'm stepping into the light. It's definitely not "real" - the radio chatter tells you nobody made it to the beam. Whatever is going to happen next, is only happening in Shepard's mind, so there's a high chance Shepard never made it on board of the Citadel, doing the decision, the Normandy never jumped away ... whatever. My headcanon is going to use that interpretation ...
BTW: I cried at Ashley's "farewell" scene. Was incredible powerful

The drunk scene was hilarious. Loved reuniting with ash. Heart skipped a beat when she got clobbered on Mars. Refused to do renegade interrupt on council saving mission, I had ominous feelings about it and turns out I was right.
What happens if you renegade interrupt that scene? I didn't do it, but I thought Shep would shoot Udina himself instead of Ash doing it?

Won't comment those endings, would be a waste of my keyboard, i just pray and hope that all those fanprooved indoctrination theories are true. Or anything, seriously. Can't believe that Ash goes out of the Normandy without single tear. Can't believe they all forget about Shep in a blink of an eye. One big nonsense.
About Ash and Shep - it's one of the most powerful love stories I saw. All those conversations were perfect, especially the last one on the Earth. And Is that just me, or some of your fanfics from this topic were used by writers?
And what I'm calling "the cycle" now is, every time I think Shep finally got Ash back, they got separated. That's depressing.
Just give me a nice dialogue, please, or I will test our fire alarm.
