Control. Synthesis. Destruction. Decisions. Why those three? Why nothing else? How can I trust this ... kid? I don't believe him. "Control" is the illusive man's choice, not mine. And "Synthesis"? It sounds too good to be the right choice. That's what Saren wanted, that's his way. He and his heretic Geth killed tens ouf thousands for that path. No ... this is not my choice, not my decision.
"Destruction". After all, Anderson was right, Hackett was right: the only way to defeat the Reapers is to destroy them. Those other two options won't do it. They even won't allow us to shape our own future. But "Destruction" does. Without the Reapers, without the Cycle, we're no longer bound to the paths created by the Reapers. We can shape our own future ... we can become more ...

It's just a pure fact, you all prooved that you can tell us even BETTER stories than best BW writers. And with those endings they made - there's really no need to proove that again.

Naaah. Some of us might have proved we can write high quality stuff with Shepard and our favorite character Ashley. But neither of us can write a BETTER story for the entire game ... at least there's no one I know, including myself. I'm too Ashley-centered you know? 



Ashley: Everyone, move out. Shepard is here, somewhere.
Vega: Yes. Scanners said he never made it to the beam ... so he has to be here somewhere.
Garrus: Aye. Scanning area. Radiation is a tad too high, so we need to get closer. Tali, do you see something?
Tali: No, not yet. Still adjusting my scanners - maybe I can improve its range, hang on ...
Vega: Wait ... there's something in the rubble ... c'mon, Garrus, check this out!
Garrus: It's him ... wait ... no. It's Gunnery Chief Ramirez. Dead.

EDI: Commander Williams - you should take a look.
Ashley: What is it, EDI?

Ashley: Shepard?

Why did they decide to give Ashley such a big makeover? She was fine before. Now her hair is impractical and she looks like she's been stabbed with one too many botox injections and had some plastic surgery =/ She just looks really unnatural to my eye, but of course imo.

Because if you compare to her to what she looked like in ME1, she looked alot more natural back then. Now its like she got desperate to get into Shepard's pants and compete with Liara and Miranda. It's like she belongs on Jersey Shore.

I just wanted to come in here and just say how satisfied I was with the romance between her and Shepard. It was exactly what I wanted from her with all the romantics and the way the relationship was, what they said to eachother/their reactions, ect. Thought that this would be the right place to proclaim my love for it/her.

She's my favorite love interest and female from Mass Effect. I just love her character and I also like her flaws such as her "xenophobia" and my disagreeing with her religious beliefs. The reason why I like this, is because I like having flaws to work through; makes it more realistic. And lots of other things. She's just... My Ashley. x) I don't know why, but thought I should proclaim this here.

90% of Mass Effect characters get fan criticism on their looks. It's just how the fanbase is. Ashley is no exception. I think she looks beautiful as always but more importantly she's still the same stubborn soldier that Matthew Shepard fell in love with.

I had Ash as my LI in ME1 and stayed faithful to her all the way through ME2, I am 12 hours into ME3 and it feels like I have no LI other than the few early conversations as they patched things up.

I am taking Ash on every mission to see if there are any dialog options with her bu tman is this boaring so far in taht aspect.

Does it pick up at all? My first playthough with Tali as LI in ME3 was actually well done, felt connected a lot mroe than this, I was hoping for more interaction... so far  meehhh I mean when sh ecame back on teh Normandy we shock hands? ....?

@bpzrn did you reach the citadel date scene yet with Ashley. There is lot of dialogue with ashley and usually new scenes with her after each major plot scene. Hope this helps.

I have not, I will keep my eyes open for that, only done a couple missions after we got back on Normandy, Geth Ship an done other, I suppose I am being impatient.

Is that date something tha twill appear in email in game type thing?

It's funny... Getting back with Ashley was one of the events of ME3 I was most looking forward to. However when I recieved her e mail I was busy completing the Krogan homeworld missions. By the time I got back to the citadel Cerberus had attacked and she was out of the hospital.

I talked her down and had her join the crew again however to my later woe not visiting her when she was conscious had cut my shep out of Ashleys heart

One thing I know for sure, in my next playthrough I'm heading straight to her hospital bed when I get her message.

That is unfortunate. As soon as I got any word from her it was: "Next stop Citadel!".

part of the "super DLC" that's supposed to come out in april or may includes LI DLC where you spend the entire thing with your LI as "partners in crime" it's jsut a rumor but I figure that'd be enough for our dialogue writers to crank out the good stuff ;D

Think it's a rumor, nothing else. And even if it's true ... they also should add more / alternative banter for the LIs so they sound that formal anymore. Seriously ... sometimes it feels odd. Especially in the German version - Ash & Shepard switch between formal "you" (= Sie) and friendly "you" (= Du) now and then. Also the romance scenes should be checked for lip sync - although the entire game had a bad lip sync, it's really awfully noticeable in Ashley's love scene. They say something and the mouth is shut - and when they say nothing, their lips are moving.
I thought they had an algorithm to lip sync in ME1 or ME2 ... why did they animate lips in ME3? Or maybe they didn't and the lip sync algorithm is broken?

Whatever. I doubt we're going to see a super DLC that adds a special mission for the LI or adds more banter ... it's a rumor, a hope. Especially for ME2!LI fans.

I'm kinda busy with doing the housework, TNS ... so no. It's a "maybe". I may even write a full blown fanfic with 10k+ words or so dealing with post-finale Shepard.
