Thoroughly enjoyed the Ash romance, a bit dissapointed there wasn't really a big talk during her time on the Normandy like the old days on the SR-1, but the romance scene was atleast as good as ME1's was IMO.

So the Normandy crash part would be part of the dreamsequence too? Like Shepard thinking of the impact of the choice he would make. I guess it makes sense, if he's strong enough he lives through the destroy option or dies fighting against it like Saren's suicide., if he chooses synthesis or control he gives in to indoctrination, in one choice it's a concious decision, the other he thought he could control himself but was wrong...It's not a perfect theory (like why can you only choose synthesis and control in certain scenario's , whilst they are supposed to symbolize his indoctrination. )

Anyway, getting off-topic fast.

I'll find a figure out a way for Shepard's (and Ashley's) story to end satisfactory, within the boundries of what the game gives, I like the challenge.

Shepard dreams that stuff. Besides that - what was the Normandy doing near the Charon Relays? Wasn't the ship's job to support the fleet or ground troops?

Damn, today I've imported my save with Miranda romanced. Took some hours before I realized I need to stop. Lack of Shepley was killing me slowly. Ashley as LI is just indispensable. It's not like Miranda isn't good enough - I really like her. But I'm just Ash-addicted, lol.

Btw., so much activity here, that's great. Don't let this topic sink in the sea of "bad ending" topics.

I know that feeling, treid to do another playthrough without Ash as my LI...didn't work out lol.  I enjoyed it that much, its hard to picture it any other way.

Lol, it's actually surprisingly easy for me to get through playthroughs with characters that didn't romance Ash.  Primarily because it feels like cheating to have her with anyone but my canon!shep.  (I guess it helps that I don't use Sheploo, because then it might be harder to see him as a 'different' Shepard).

Was anyone else annoyed by the scene where Ashley is lying on the floor drunk and Shep is teasing her? I don't know about everyone else but MY Shep would never treat her like that.
