could of been a good scene where ash would describe what happened to her when Shepard died would like to know what she had to go threw
The email from ME2, doesn't explain much but its soooo good hearing her voice.

Wow! That's awsome hearing her voice reading that email. If only Bioware could've done that for all the emails in ME2 that would've made the game so much better!
The way Ms. Brooks reads that is so good and it's that voice that makes me fall in love with her. I still think that "i can't go where your going" line is super cliche but i love the rest of it(paticularly the poem at the end).

Whoa, never heard this before... amazed it wasn't in-game, really adds so much to that otherwise kind of anticlimactic email exchange lol

Finished the game. They did an excellent job on the Ashley romance and upon actually playing the ending I kind of liked it. Seemed pretty obvious to me it was all in Shepard's head vs harbringer.

I have to be honest, I had a love/hate relationship with the way they wrote Ashley in ME3. While I liked the latter romance scenes, and felt that Shepard reciting poetry to Ash was the perfect bookend to the relationship for the series, my God did I hate all the freaking hurdles you had to go through to regain her trust.
I get that someone needed to play the role of questioning Shepard's relationship with Cerberus, and actually thought the revelation that the Cerberus troops were husks gave Ash more justification, but they Bioware really should have dropped the subject after Ash came out of a coma. The Gun stand off just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Yeah that part kinda upset me consider I thought she pretty much forgave me by that point and I had regained her trust. But hearing Shepard and Ashley say I love you to each other was well worth it

I know, it just seems like her characterization is hollow compared to Garrus and Liara's. Ashley's entire romance in the third game revolved around her trust issues (and briefly on her widowed Sister.) That and she never interacts with anyone on the ship. I dunno, I just found it dissapointing.

Definitely not a ponytail. That extraction was better too, they should've kept it like that.ADLegend21 wrote...

What did you think about the romance scene with Ash?
Beautiful stuff, although in German version, the lip sync didn't work at all
Also, I can understand why Ash has underwear in that foreplay scene but I wonder why she's still wearing it after sleeping with Shep. I always imagined Ash as naked sleeper

About dubbing - I'm very satisfied that ME3 is the only game of series that they left with original dubbing in my country, just adding subtitles. That was a real pain in the ass - first game had an option to install original dub or our language, you could switch subtitles easily. And I must say that - for example - Ash VA was pretty good, although she is so common in game industry here that It was hard to... well, connect it with her personality. In English version it's the unique voice, for me of course. I can easily say - that is Ashley.
What's interesting in dubbing case more, the second game went only with our dubbing. You had to change some files and do some things to get English one. And that was necessary, because a lot of characters had different VA than in ME1. So does Ashley.
CptData - German, huh? Greetings from the eastern border then

My very, very, very, very first attempt of using an extracted Ashley Model in a scene.
Hope you like it.
I used a stock animation for that pose (also extracted), so ... need to do learn lot more. The corridor & lightning is done by me. Animation & Ashley are property of Bioware & Electronic Arts.
No post-production used (although I'm currently trying stuff).

Same one ... who wants an Ashley comic?

**** Spoiler Warning ****
I romanced Ashley in ME1 and was loyal to her in ME2. I found the Ashley romance in ME3 extremely tedious. Not only does she get taken out of almost half the game, right at the beginning of the game, but I have to constantly kiss her ass, to get her over her insecurity/trust issues, when I do get access to her. I think I counted 5 times where she questions my Shep's loyalty in the game. That's insane. I'm a hero to almost everyone else in the galaxy but Ashley had her head in the sand when I defeated the Collectors? That wasn't her on Horizion? After all the good Shep did, she can't get over the Cerberus thing? Sorry, that doesn't work for me.
Her pointing her gun at me during the Udina standoff was the last straw. As soon as I was able to ditch her on Hackett's ship I did. Even that "renegade" choice was poorly done. I couldn't tell her, "Take your psychotic ass elsewhere." No, I had to...you're not going to believe this...once again kiss her ass and tell her "Hear me out.. you deserve your own command." No.. she deserves to be committed.
Keep in mind I didn't even touch upon the almost complete lack of interaction with her once she's back on the ship. Whoops.. guess I just did. Her saying, "I love you" wasn't going to fix that for me. I'm extremely disappointed in how they handled this relationship and I'm very surprised more people aren't upset about it.

Once you start adding the normals (normal maps) to your materials on Ash and the corridor, along with the specular maps, I think you'll start seeing some nice polished results.
Good start.

Garrus was cool and hanging out in the lounge talking to crewmates or talking to tali and liara via the comm, but ashley just stayed in that one room, and you only get like one convo with her that gives you a dialogue wheel. i would have liked a bit more... like maybe post thessia she should have done some comforting or something. all she said was "you should probably check on liara"
and then shepard is like "i should go"
carrying unconscious ashley in sheps arms on mars was great, drunk scene was great, I was glad they finally got to say I love you to one another, the romance scene was very well done, and the last scene together on earth was also great.
also just saw the deleted scene where squadmates get hit by harbingers lasers. maybe ash isn't on some planet with joker after all... maybe she died... maybe I shouldn't take her on the final mission.... hmmmm
