Currently reliving the moments with Ashley Williams in Mass Effect 1 and it's awesome" Can't see why people complain about poor dialoges with Ashley in ME3, sure the most interesting conversation with Ashley abord the Normandy is her drunk. But the awesome moments with Ashley in The Citadel when going to the memorial with her, visiting her in the hospital, the last conversation with her in London and many more. Those just makes up for everything and you relise that Bioware have done such an awesome job with the character depth in ME3

I think people just wanted like general conversations with her. But really, the world is ending. Talking about what she ate for lunch just doesn't work given the settings. So i totally agree with you.  Instead of some meaningless banter they got an ashley that was fully integrated into the main plot, and they still complain.

Bioware did a great job with all Ashley scenes in this game. Yes so there is less banter but it is still nice. All the scenes they had with ashley and shepard in the main sequences made up for less banter. So i do not get why people complain either but I guess people will complain no matter what.

The ME3 Bioware Launch in West Hollywood was sweet ....

Kimberly Brooks and Jennifer Hale ... With the voice actress of Tali, Jack and the face of Samara to their right. Ali Hillis, Mac Walters and casey Hudson hidden by fans.

I was dorky ... I saluted her and said "Chief" ... she answered, "ma'am".

Then after some goof told her that he wanted Ash to apologize for Horizon I told her that my Shepard didn't want an apology ... he just wanted Ash back. She smiled and said, "and your Shepard will have her back."

Dorky I know. But can I say that I melted with the "ma'am"! Posted Image

Not dorky man, not at all. He only wanted that apology cause he didn't hear the message in her voice.
And by the way she's my wife. :D

Has there been any discussion on what might happen if the story continues even a little.Like, what amount of cheese could you put in the game concerning Ash. Things like baby or wedding seem to step on the side of fanfiction for me, but how about if Shep makes a clumsy attempt at popping the question or if they would show Ashley's footlockler in the Captain's cabin.

The latter version wouldn't require much work from bw  and it would in my mind tell many things with saying much. After all, the things people imagine usually start with a couple moving in together.

What do you think? Too much/too little?

I prefer they leave it open enough so that I can imagine it works out however I want.

I think I'm going to play ME1 over spring break, to see the romance from the beginning.

Use femShep for Liara. Problem solved.

Too bad this doesn't work for other ME2's romances. I used save with Tali's romance once. But when I got to hospital and spoke to Ash, she said: "I heard you and Tali were a thing. It's ok. Tali's like a sister. I totally approve." It felt so... wrong. Bad, bad cheater. I guess I like Ash way too much to not stay loyal. ;)

Liara might have more face time because she's bioware's golden (err blue?) girl, but there's just no beating the ups and downs, problems and resolutions you'll find playing all 3 games with ashley as your LI.

The lows absolutely suck, but they make the good parts so much better.

I wish we had the chance to meet Ashley's father. That would've been an awesome conversation, but too bad he passed away. If he was alive, we could've had the long conversation with him at the grill, after the ending :D

Oh wait...

Quick question for you guys and gals.

Does Ashley have much more to say on the Normandy or just in general if you romanced her?

When I finally got her back as a squadmate I found the amount of conversations to be lacking compared to the rest of the crew.
