It seems there is almost nothing different from someone who remained loyal to ashley and someone who cheated on her. In my other playthrough she mentioned once Miranda, and said take it slow at the hospital, but otherwise, it is exaclty the same words and cinematics, until the end.

This is what I saw, but maybe I missed something. Does anyone can confirm ?

I think your romance scene will have different dialogue.

I stayed loyal to Ashley throughout the series and Shepard said the words "I love you" to her and she did the same.

I've seen videos, though, where he doesn't say this. I can't remember if they player was romancing her for the first time ever or if he cheated on her, but I think you'll get different dialogue - not as affectionate.

Hello all. I finally finished ME3 so here I am to talk specifically about how awesome the Ash romance was. Ashley was great in general in the game, thought her character really grew in a spectacular way. I love the heck out of that woman. But the romance! Man. That was something special. It was so maturely done.

After the scene on the Citadel where you "rekindle" your romance, it's great because you feel like Shepard and Ashley just go from there and have a normal relationship, even if you don't see it. The final "love scene" felt like it was really familiar for them, that they'd been carrying on normally for probably months. That's why I loved it. Felt different than the three or four conversations leading up to some lovin'.

That's also why I loved the auto dialogues with everyone. Felt like there was so much going on on the ship even when you, the player weren't experiencing all of it.

They really did right by Ash in ME3. I'm very happy with the treatment of her. :)

I loved the relationship as well.
The farewell was heartbreaking but you saw the love

For some reason though before they rekindle the romance, Ashley's line gets cut short. Not sure if that's intentional or a glitch, but it bugs me. Look at the subtitles, she still has half a line to go before Shepard cuts her off.

Yup, I had my doubts when we found out a different writer was handling it, but whoever did it really just knocked it out of the park. Even when she's not a squad mate they never really forgot about her. Was totally impressed.

Also her very last conversation on earth was really well done as well.  She was totally worth the wait.

Yeah I noticed that too. It's got to be a glitch.

Kimberly Brooks has such a great voice. I got a kick out of the part when Ash mimicked her dad, "Good, I'll pack your damn bags myself!" :P

Yeah, I know what you mean, Aurora. Kind of bugs me, too. Not only did it happen with Ash on the Citadel date, but it happened with some other characters as well. I don't remember off the top of my head, but I do believe Garrus was one of them. Doesn't detract from the quality of the game though, but it just bugs me.

I noticed that as well, just after the Shepard line 'Such a romantic', seems to affect xbox and PC versions.

I'm hoping its just a glitch I stayed loyal to Ashley in ME2 and from what I remeber she accused me of cheating twice. Once while she was in the hospital but never mentioned who I cheated with and again when I rekindled the romance with her on the Citadel.

Gotta admit, I wish there was a little bit more lip-locking action between these too, and that the drunk scene could be done after the romance was re-intiated. Woulda loved a shot of Shepard tucking Ash into her bed then relentlessly teasing her about it afterwards when she's sober.

I am dead and have died.  I always appreciate Ash's attempt to deflect heavy situations with humor.  "Oh yeah?  We lookin' at a rough ride?"  *shoulder nudge*

I also love how things are obviously affecting her and she understands the weight Shepard feels.  You can see it on her face when she walks into the cabin in the final romance scene.  But she's always strong for him.  And I love that he can call her on it and just be upset, because then she gets real.

@ Badpie. Yeah. While I was watching it, I realised that if you watch Shepard's face he's obviously not in the mood for her attitude, but he's also secretly grateful for it.

I think if ME3 proves anything, it's that Shepard is both physically and emotionally screwed over and he's relying now more than ever on others to 'pick him up and dust him off'.

I love when Ash says "I doubted you once and I lost you, that's never happening again"

Also RQ: Is romanced Shep the only person who calls her Ash? Or does everyone do that?
Do the crew mates call her Ash, I don't recall if they do or its only Shepard
