I also gotta ask, does no one else think it's a bit convienant that there's a set of N7 armor waiting for Shepard when he gets on the Normandy after Earth, and that cutscene before getting the call from Hackett it seems almost as if Ash was going through the gear at taking care of it?

Did anyone think that Kaidan's romance with Femshep looked a bit more natural than Ashley and Manshep? What with the bottle of wine and all. Also, did anyone try betraying Wrex? I like how when he turns up at the Citadel to confront Shepard and Shepard runs for cover Wrex says,'What, Ashley not around to do your dirty work for you?' LOL!

It really kind of did. I think that Shepard and Ash may have recieved the short end of the stick in romance, but I like the romance none the less.

Yeah. I saw that too. Shepard very nearly crapped his/her pants.

Ashley was great in general in the game, thought her character really grew in a spectacular way. I love the heck out of that woman. But the romance! Man. That was something special. It was so maturely done.

Hands down, the romance was crafted in a very beautiful way.
It suffers from cuts, however. I still don't have the full script here, but some scenes are missing or got reduced. It's not too easy to see and therefore it's not really a "minus".

After the scene on the Citadel where you "rekindle" your romance, it's great because you feel like Shepard and Ashley just go from there and have a normal relationship, even if you don't see it. The final "love scene" felt like it was really familiar for them, that they'd been carrying on normally for probably months. That's why I loved it. Felt different than the three or four conversations leading up to some lovin'.

And here I have to disagree. All we get beyond the rekindle date, is the romance scene before the battle. Depending on how many side missions you did before getting to that scene, it still can be nearly half the game. I don't really demand an extra scene here, but maybe some fluff:

- more flirty banter. C'mon, Badpie - Ash is unusally cold in her generic banter. Her generic banter doesn't really work for a good friend (as BW pretends to show in case she's not romanced) and it definitely doesn't work for a lover.
- no visit from Ash in the cabin except sexytimez? Liara has THREE visits, all done in a very tempting way.
- did I say some content is missing? I did.
If I remember correctly, at least this stuff is missing:
-> Ashley mentioning her new hairstyle
-> Ashley asking Shepard if it's okay to move to the loft (or not)
-> Ashley talking about sex they had last night
-> Some more generic flirtly banter

That's also why I loved the auto dialogues with everyone. Felt like there was so much going on on the ship even when you, the player weren't experiencing all of it.

They really did right by Ash in ME3. I'm very happy with the treatment of her.

Yeah. Too bad, Ashley never takes part in any of those dialogues. She feels not like being part of the crew ... and that makes me a sad panda

The romance scenes we got were done perfectly.

She was the Shepard I was gonna romance Ashley with until they said 'Oh, by the way. Ash is still straight'....  most epic headcanon let down ever. So the solution I came up was to run my two Shepards in tandem. Male Shepard is John Shepard and FemShep is Roxanna Pierce
