Lt. Commander Ashley Williams thread: "Don't 'Ash' me!" We're Back Baby!

I think this is all a construct in my mind. Ive thought about now, and I think it comes from when Ash reappear on Horizon, they play the vigil-theme and also, Liara has one theme on the ME-OST. I think it was all wishful thinking, sorry if I got any hopes up :-)

For funny squadmate moments, yes, I agree. "Congratulations, you genetically perfect Cerberus cheerleader bosh'tet. Keelah se'lai." Lol. That, followed by Garrus being the "King of the Bottle-Shooters".jreezy wrote...
Best scene in the game in my opinion.Clone 071 wrote...
Yeah, the "Don't "Ah" me. You sound like a Vorcha." was a line in the Tali drunk scene after Sanctuary.Aurora313 wrote...
Tali says that? O.o...

Also, the theme plays on the Normandy right after the Virmire assault before the Citadel: Lockdown chapter.CptData wrote...
^ yup. There is a romance theme but no Ash theme.
You can consider it as "Ash theme" if you romance only her, but besides that, it's just a generic romance theme for Kaidan and Liara as well.
Remind me to tell BW to create an Ashley theme if they want to make a reboot of the series.

Funny. I just tried to continue Aurora's wonderful dialogue - but I failed.
Can't make up something interesting. Talking about "living arrangement". Any idea?

Yes, although it still falls under the Love Theme soundtrack. Basically the same thing, just without the heartbeat portion of the theme.CptData wrote...
@ Clone: it's the sad theme, right?

On a side note, does anyone else think that the new Ash looks like Cobie smulders from HIMYM?

For me she just wouldn't look right being blonde or a redhead...

Not really
Ashley is more beautiful. Cobie is very nice to look at, but no Ashley
And yes: blonde / redhaired Ash doesn't work for me. Her dark brown hair fits perfectly.

My PS3 copy of ME3 is freeze/blackscreening like crazy. I've decided I can't continue till next patch. My question is, what happens if you continue a relationship with Ashley? How does Jack react?

Speaking of, I wonder how things turn out in case Ashley is taking command of the new SR3.
How's her style of command? She had the chance to learn from the best, so maybe she's pretty much like Shepard? What's his new role then? ^^ Still soldier? Or does he act more like a diplomat, an icon for mankind ... ?
Ash was already noted to be a leader pre-Shepard ...
Drill Instructor Gunnery Chief Ellison noted her steadfast endurance and aggressive instincts, and promoted her to squad leader, and subsequently to platoon guide after observing her effective tutelage of the less skilled members of her training unit. Her platoon had logged unanimous positive feedback on her leadership in the recent fitness review cycle. Private Nirali Bhatia praised her focus on team-building exercises and "tough but fair" discipline.
She had the skill set just not the opportunity so hopefully after the war she is given a chance to show what she can do. Whatever path she chooses PV Shepard will support her.

Yeah, I know, I know
Just want to explore Ashley's skills as CO in a fanfic. Maybe one day?
One thing is for sure: she has almost the willpower to live like Shepard has. Ashley's leadership skills are there but she might need more experience first. Then again - the Normandy was Shepard's first command. It's not really clear if s/he ever was in charge of a ship before, but Shepard definitely started as squad leader too - and showed versatility. Ash is not less versatile (even Liara mentions this on Mars, of course, with other words) and is definitely CO material.
Too bad no one told us in ME3 if Ash was intended as the Normandy's next CO. Another thing I'd like to know from BW ...

Her less formal look when she's in the ship's gym ...

And I don't see her as a diplomat, not a very good one at any rate, she doesn't have the patience or the "elegance" of speaking for it. Ash is way too blunt. She hate politics for a reason

I think she prefers being in the dirt though, fighting on the ground, she'd probably be capable as a CO on a ship, but I doubt if she'll be happy with the job. If she was asked though, I think she'd take the job, as long as she still gets to to groundside missions, just like Shepard.

That's why, Shepard stays with her on board of the SR3. She's the captain, does ground missions like Shepard did - and let him doing all the boring speeches.
Ashley is - at least for me - the one and only sucessor of Shepard.

For me no one is really on equal terms with Shepard. Ashley makes him stronger, they make each other the best they can be. I sometimes wonder would they be able to live a normal life together? Considering how they spend most of their time fighting, they hardly ever get alone worry free time.
