That depends. If the council from M1 is alive, There will be no issues.

Coucil alive  = + 2 points + ashley romance in M1 + 2 points, + reputation + 2 points etc.

if the council from M1 is dead, = - 2 pointsto  for example.

There's a formula behind this? Okay, I think there's one behind Geth/Quarian peace - you can't achieve it if you rewrote the Heretics and sacrificed Admiral Koris. If you killed the Heretics, you still can negotiate peace even if Koris died.

So it's the same for the VS?

Old Council +2
Reputation +2
Romance +2
Talks to VS +2
Salarian Councilor saved +2

?

You forgot the Collectors base, it counts too - you have to destroy it to have more points with her. According to the game guide, in ME3 the most important part about this issue is to talk to her while she's in the hospital. If you don't then it will be much harder to convince Ashley to back down during Udina's coup, unless you have high reputation.

Here's the cut dialogue that involves Ashley's new 'hair'
*cut*

Yes, that's one of the dialogues I missed - and it got cut. Dunno if someone datamined Ashley's lines yet, but I'm sure BW recorded that dialogue and dummied it out.

It's also one of the dialogues I want to have back with a patch or romance DLC.

Yes I was disappointed that Ashley's new look was never brought up. I mean, Shepard mentions Jack's new look twice... but doesn't say 1 peep about Ashley.

So glad I remained in her good graces. Ashley is the only girl for Jon-Mal... :)

Yeah, I was pissed about that too. Why no commenting on Ashley's appearance. Any why no comment on Shepard's stubble becoming a beard?

@CptDAta. Yeah it would have been cool. :)

Can you mp me what missed in M3 from the leaked script ? I want all the Ashley's lines ! Now I am ready. ( If I didn't read the leaked script, that's because I knew there would be cut content as usual during game development and I didn't want to be disappointed. )

And did you write your headcanon finally ?

First: I don't own the script. I just had a 100 pages dialogue with MBE about Ashley's dialogues. And tbh, we had far more stuff there, especially generic banter. At least once Ashley mentions the sex they had last night ... so in the original script, Shepard and Ashley had sex offscreen, meaning, their romance arc was intended to be different in case you romanced her in ME1.

Second: my current headcanon is based on the hallucination/indoctrination theory. No details

Thank you. :)

@ Data : Lol. Me, I decided that the reapers tried to convince  my shepard indoctrinated, with their lies, but I chose the destroy ending and they didn't succeed, so poof, reapers are destroyed, the galaxy is saved. xD

And since the reapers are dead, indoctrination doesn't work anymore, or at least Shepard will live many years happy with his LI, before loosing his mind. On Earth as well.

There's no hidden formula behind VS or Quarians x Geth. All you need is to have a decent rep for persuade option(s). Which is much lower than you needed i.e. for Tali x Legion in ME2. The only difference your choices make are how the dialogue plays out and the fact that you may not need to use persuade option at all.

Shepard: Hang on: You walked away on Horizon, not me. It was pretty clear you were done with me.
Ashley[/b]: I was hurt and angry.
Shepard: I needed a connection with you, and you shut me out. And now you're angry because I moved on?
Ashley[/b]: I can be angry about whatever the hell I want.
Shepard: Fine. I can see this is pointless. Take care, Ash.
Ashley[/b]: Shepard...wait. I'm...all messed up right now.
Shepard: {Pauses} What's going on?
Ashley[/b]: I don't deny any of it. We both have history.
Shepard: We can dwell on the past, or admit we might have a future.
Ashley[/b]: We take it slow, okay? Just give me some time.

Ooooh sweet ! It's possible to be renegade with Ashley and it doesn't destroy the romance :)
My renegade shep is happy, I feared that it couldn't be possible. :P

*sigh* I definitely miss a Liara!level Ashley romance.
I mean, headcanon is nice and such, but I want to see their love on screen, damnit.

Syvianus: I never use renegade options on Ash ... she doesn't seem to like 'em ^^
But good to know you won't screw up things with her ...

My renegade shepard is really unbearable and someone not very sensitive. But ashley is the only ray of light in his life. This is the only thing that makes him change his personality a bit, she's the only person he cares about.

That said, he still has its flaws, like Ashley has its flaws. I find it really exciting to tell their stories of couples in my head. What is certain is that it is alive between them.  They love each other, sometimes competing, joke, share good times together. There is rebound.

I can't choose all the time the options that would contradict his personality, even if it is true that ashley does not seem to like those i choose sometimes. :D

For Liara, I must admit, that wow... She has really been pampered, too bad Ashley didn't get the same treatment.
But you know, I tried Miranda and Jack's romance, and I can say that even if Ashley did get less content, it is still far better that what other Li had.

Ok, I'm a little annoyed. Kaidan gets a one-off comment on EDI's new body and how it 'scared the sh!t out of him', but Ash simply says 'good to see you'?

Favourtism much?

I don't think it is about favourtism. Each writer write generic banters for each character, maybe the one who wrote ashley didn't consider them important.

Would have been nice to have a few more dialogues/conversations with her, though.

agreed, wish they intregrated her into the normandy better like having her show up in different locations or even a few flirty comments to Shepard if they were in a romance.

Pardon me for my ignorance, my fellow fans, but I was hoping you could answer me a question. At what point in the game does Inferno Grenade unlock as a bonus power? For the sake of clarity, assume that Shepard talks to Ashley (in a romantic manner) whenever possible.

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe you either have it or you don't...?

Unless you're talking about bonus powers, in which case, they unlock after you complete the game once.

Know what? I wonder if we can convince Raph & Kim to record some of OUR generic banter lines for free. And in case they do, why shouldn't we ask BW to implement them as free DLC? Okay, in that case they still have to ask the German/French/Russian/whatever VAs to do their lines as well but hey ... why not? After all, Raph & Kim read the Horizon letters. I believe they can be convinced ...

*sigh* at least more friendly generic banter, please ...

If I remember correctly she had inferno grenade right from the get go?
I could be wrong.

And yeah she could've had some more banter, but come on, all the important convo's are there, let's not make this a bigger issue than it really is. I don't like it either, but one in three posts here is "She has less dialogue than some of the other squadmates."

I have a question though, what do you think about the way they handeled her family? It was a big part of her arc, did you miss anything, likes / dislikes?

Like: at least we learn something about her sister Sarah.
Dislike: Fate of rest of family? News about her colony?

Think I missed a lot of stuff. Ash nearly never mentions her belief. Also there's a lack of "Skipper" and "poems". Lets say, our expectations were a bit high, true, but even with lower expectations a lot of us would end disappointed. In my case it's the lack of non-romance interaction. Remember when Ash was joking with Kaidan on the Citadel? Man, I miss those times. Now I'm glad at least some other squadmates mention Ash (Liara, Javik, Joker ...)

You mean with Sarah on the citadel, it was a nice touch but I thought Shep could have at least been introduced to her I mean after ME1 you would think Ash would have told her sisters about him.  Maybe I would have thought more of it if they had made an effort to make Sarah look better i.e. she looked just like a stock NPC to me and maybe got a voice actor for her.

It was better than nothing I suppose and you got the vibe on how much Ash cares about her family.

Yeah, but you can say the same about Oriana. She doesn't even look close to Miranda.

And I concur: after all, Sarah wanted to learn more about Shepard in ME1. Why not introducing her to Shepard?

I think it might be a little awkward lore-wise if Ashley introduced Shepard to Sarah now, especially a romanced Ashley. As far as I recall Sarah's scene happens before they rekindle the romance, neither of them quite understand where they stand with each other, so it would probably be best if they weren't introduced until later after Shepley had a talk and cleared things up between them.

Trufax. Why not a second encounter with Sarah on the Citadel?
Why's Ash not sitting in the Café with Sarah? :P

And what's with the rest of the Williams family?

They should be on the Citadel too, at least according to Ash. But it sucks that you never find out *hint, hint*.

Headcanon certainly has a lot of work to do huh... specially since I've had to alter mine again... T.T

I concur with this, a second encounter meeting the Williams family would have been a nice touch esp after they rekindle their romance.
