Sorry a little late here but that Vega/Ash dialogue is Charlie Sheen approved

I see that cpt data and aurora are up to their old tricks again. I seem to be missiong all the dialogues, have to catch up, I have fallen behind. Yes ashley has he least of lines of ME 1 LI's but all the stuff we get for shepley romance more than makes it up to me at least. And to hear ashley say that she held a gun to shepard in her sad appolegetic voice almost made me cry. And all that proves to me that ashley and shepard were meant for each other. We need more ashley DLC.

I romanced Ashley in ME1, Miranda in 2, now in ME3, with this playthrough....I am going back to Citadel and I am sure it's the start of the downfall of Udina...but I never got an email from Ashley to meet her for her sister's husband's memorial thing.
Wondering what I could have done to screw that up.

Any ideas?

Memorial occurs after the citadel coup, provided you didn't kill her.....and DON'T U DARE TO!

 Just came across this forum last week and finally finished reading through all these posts! I must say I'm hooked! And I have to ask: Anyone else see the resemblance between Erica Cerra and Ash? :happy:

Yeah I definitely wished there were more scenes with Ashley in them!  I miss how in ME1 you could talk to Ash or any of the characters and it would switch to a close up scene between the two.  I mean, fine since once you exhaust the conversation options they're just going to repeat the same thing, but it still felt like a more genuine/intimate experience.  In ME3 you get like a 1 word response...which just felt kind impersonal   

However, I'm still really happy with how the romance arc is treated.  I like how in ME3 both characters have grown and changed, but in the end they still found their way back to each other

Shepard: After all that little performance last night, I'm afraid forgot the question.
Ashley: Heh - you twit.
Shepard: It's a gift. *soft kiss*
Ashley: Why are you avoiding giving me an answer?
Shepard: 'Cause I don't think you're gonna like it.
Ashley: Try me Skipper.
Shepard: *sits up, rubbing the back of his neck.* I uh, I handed in my offical resignation yesterday. I'm... no longer an officer of the Alliance Military.
Ashley: So, I finally outrank you for once.
Shepard: *soft/half amused glare*
Ashley:  ... I'm sorry. I'll be serious. I don't want to say I was expecting this, but I didn't think you would have wanted to keep going after everything that happened.
Shepard: I'm just sick of being surrounded by death. When I sleep at night, I keep hearing voices of people we've lost. Mordin, Kaidan, Anderson and I can even hear my ex-wives' voices. I just can't handle it anymore.
Ashley: You've been fighting for five years straight, Skipper. To the point where you can't even remember how to stop. If it had been anyone else, they would have given up years ago.
Shepard: Heh - Ok. Is this supposed to be a pep talk or a guilt trip?
Ashley: Speeches are your forte not mine, but if anyone deserves a break, then there's no question it's you.
Shepard: Thanks Ash.
Ashley: Just... does this mean, you're leaving the Normandy?
Shepard: Are you trying to kick me out of my own home, Williams?
Ashley: But, you just said you aren't an Alliace Officer anymore, and you're not a SpecTRe still, are you?
Shepard: Oh no. I'm still a SpecTRe. That's actually the other half of the business on the Citadel.
Ashley: Let me guess, they made you the boss. Head SpecTRe or something.
Shepard: Yeah, SpecTRe Field Marshall actually. How'd you figure that out?
Ashley: .... I was joking.
Shepard: Oh... uhm, well. Surprise?

 I really enjoyed the poetry reading between Ash and Shepard. So much excellent verses have written throughout the ages, it was a brilliant use of them in Mass Effect. I would have loved more of those moments.

These verses are taken from Dante’s ”Inferno”, the first part of ”The Divine Comedy”. I thought it would have worked well as reference to Shepard’s dreams, leading to further doubts in his mind.
 "Midway upon the journey of our life,
I found myself within a forest dark,
For the straight foreward pathway had been lost."

”Ah me! how hard a thing it is to sayWhat was this forest savage, rough, and stern,Which in the very thought renews the fear.”
”I cannot well repeat how there I entered,So full was I of slumber at the momentIn which I had abandoned the true way.”
I am certain Ashley would have had an comforting reply.

Vega: Aye-aye, Ma'am. Speaking of - I have a habit to give my COs nicknames. "Loco" was for Shepard, 'cause everything he did was entire madness. And he always dragged our asses out of the biggest mess. "Loco". Wonder how I call you.
Ashley: As long as you know who's in charge, you can call me whatever you want, James.
Vega: I'll keep that in mind.
Ashley: Hmm ... John should have been here for 10 minutes now. And EDI and Joker too. No idea if it's that good to play Poker with EDI, but it definitely doesn't feel complete without Skipper.
Vega: Sure thing. Just glad Kenneth isn't in that one.
Ashley: Why that?
Vega: Did you even listen to that guy? With Ken in our little poker game, I'm sure he would make it to strip poker. Or "truth or dare". *snickers*
Ashley: Maaaaybe I should have a word with him.
Vega: Only with Loco nearby. *laughs*

MY SHEP IS AN AWESOME FAN OF DANTE'S "INFERNO"!!!! I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!!!! 

And yes, it would be fitting if Shepard did quote it. I'm pretty sure the copy-right wouldn't be much of an issue.

Ashley: There's something that's had me worried since I saw you back on Horizon, Shepard.
Shepard: Oh yeah? And what's that?
Ashley: Your biotics. Your new biotics.
Shepard: Oh... those, yeah.
Ashley: I... don't understand how you got them. Did Cerberus...?
Shepard: I have a sister - or rather had. We were twins, and we were exposed to eezo.
Ashley: I didn't know you had a sister - biological sister, let alone a twin. Is she still... around?
Shepard: Yes, yeah Of course she's still around. I haven't had much contact with her.
Ashley: Bad blood between you two?
Shepard: We had a falling out. She wondered off on Earth and joined a gang or something when we were 15. And she developed biotics, and I didn't develop brain cancer. So, I guess I've always had that latent potential, but it never really showed.
Ashley: I guess Cerberus must have detected them and somehow forced them to manifest?
Shepard: That's about what I figure.
Ashley: If I may offer my opinion though, you seem to be abusing them?
Shepard: Really? How so?
Ashley: Let's see, you charge around the battlefield like an idiot, jump up and do that huge biotic explosion, then charge to the next target for a rinse'n'repeat. Doesn't sound like abuse to you? 
Shepard: That's not abuse, that's having fun.
Ashley: I can scarcely imagine how powerful you'd be if they developed eariler. And you're treating them kind of like a toy.
Shepard: Hey - It makes our skimishes interesting. And I'm not talking about just the battlefield.
Ashley: I can't argure with that.

Secondly, I have a bone to pick about ME3 related to Ashley.


Anyone else here think she got seriously gimped on content in this game? I'm sooooooooo disappointed. 
This ruins the game more for me than any terrible ending they could have thought up.
