I know she and Tali would have funny banter, same with Garrus. EDI would have questions about the alliance for her. Vega would probbaly flirt or crack jokes and Joker would probably make jokes about her outfit.

So many opportunities missed b/c they had to work on Mac's favs first ... (Garrus, Vega, Liara, and probably the prothean Javik)

When she's drunk.

If you talk to James before Ash, he talks about drinking with her, and how he made her food. The tone of voice he used to describe her made me want to deck him.

I thought it was pretty funny, he's just a fun loving dude. Glad he was spreading it around, especially because Ash had decided to hide in the observation deck and not talk to anyone, including Shepard!

Remember when they said that ME1 romances would be big in this game?

And more great pics.

Apparently Tali and Garrus were part of that and Liara got her mountain of content as usual. No surprise there.Posted Image

I like Liara, but the amount of content she gets in comparison to others makes me sick. = /

yeah. She's in your room more than your LI is unless it's Liara. That's kind of lopsided.Posted Image

Yeah.  Posted Image

Am I the only one who expected Ash to bunk in my room once we started the romance? I mean, why couldn't they have given us Ash romance convos? And I really hope BW wasn't counting those conversations in the hospital when Shep said really nice things about their past romance.

*Sigh* ME3 makes me sad.

Overall, I felt Ashley needed more dialogue with Shepard and the crew, but it was satisfying and disappointing at the same time.
On the negative side, Ashley needed more development. In addition, it always felt Liara never got the clue; I was with Ashley not her. It was making me mad and annoyed at times; even though, she is an okay character. For me, Bioware kept pushing Liara on my canon story. I wanted more Ashley interactions not Liara; if I romanced and stayed true with Ashley or not.
On the positive side, Mars mission felt very well with Ashley, the hospital scenes were good, and the ending moment was nice, but it was not enough.
In my opinion, I can clearly see where Bioware is playing favorites, but Ashley will always be my romance canon.

Yea, I had these great scenes inviting Liara, James, Tali, even Traynor to my room. I was waiting and waiting for the chance to do that with Ash, but nope. :(

yeah I thought they would have the feature where you call your LI up to the cabin from post SM ME2 especially since you got the paramour achievement prior to the final mission.

True.  It also seemed like the depth just wasn't there with Ash this time.  In the first game, you had some great discussions about aliens/racism, family, religion, and so on.  ME3 it seemed like the entirety of her dialogue was "do you still like me" or direct comments on the mission you're on.  And there's the sister side plot, but still nothing new there.

And with the Ash/Shepard family pic, this could be Ash's reaction when Shepard goes MIA/KIA again with these endings:

Lose Shepard once, she's broken and moves on, lose Shepard twice and all hell breaks loose.

To be fair all the squad mates behave like kasumi in between missions. And really I much prefer it than just being able to start up a conversation and then having them not having anything new to say. Other than that stuff, they then each have their specific dialogues which if you include all the hospital visits and little things ashley still has almost just as much. What she lacks in is moving around the ship, but I'm not about to be picky after her treatment in ME2.

If you count everything she has to say in all three games, I think you'd find she says more in ME3 than in ME1 and ME2 combined.

I personally liked what Ash had to say, but it wasn't enough.

I guess everythings better in ME1.

Don't get me wrong, Ashley being back is great, but there's so many things oyu have to go through. Especially having to AVOID killing on the Citadel and then having the option to tell her she can't come on the ship too. She and Kaidan are the only squadmates you can kill yourself during the game and the only ones you can say "no get off my my ship" to. It's tough.

Yeah, like my Avatar. :D
Only thing was there's no "I love you" stuff (that got me excited in ME3), but frankly that would've been way too early for that to start. Even ME1 had it's ups and downs.

I can't believe they shafted Ash like that. I guarantee that's why theres no dialogue, there are three opportunities to not have her on the ship at all. (Virmire, Citadel confrontation, telling her not to come).

Bioware shouldn't have picked favorites with who they wrote more for (Liara, ehem.)

Honestly, I'd trade Javik and James anyday for more dialogue with everyone on the ship now.

They definitely seem have favorites. Which is sad because I really like Liara, but I always end up resenting the fact that she got more personal time with Shepard than Ash did.

Hmm, in a way, Wrex seems to resemble the VS situation in terms of getting screwed over. There's Virmire in ME1 and there's the choice to sabotage the cure in ME3.

^this. the only thing sI cna find wrog with her Garus and Tali is that they have more things than other characters and that makes me resent them almos as much as I like them and I hate that.Posted Image

I like Liara and all, but it just seems like she got shoved down our throats.  Ashley is my woman, not you. :pinched:

She'll get her turn on another playthrough. ^_^
