True stuff there. Few relationships are perfect, so this adds to the realistic nature of theirs.

And yes, I have the same feelings there for that kind of ending.

Everyone interested should write few words on how he would like endings to look like in DLC.

Of course it is not certain if Bioware guys will read them, but every initiative has value to put constant pressure on Bioware.

Yeah, gotta respect the classics. If it weren't for ME1, we probably wouldn't be here today supporting Ash like we do now.

Makes me wish I could bring my Xbox with me to college so I can relive the glory days...

(as in some who just jumps into ME3 without playing the previous games) I'm glad the Williams curse has lost its grip, but how is what I'd like to know? It's not only LC promotion. Ash becomes second human spectre. I think that after taking Saren and honourable service family curse might have just worn off.

I would expect ashley to get emotional or something, maybe say "If only Dad could see me now...." Also it would hav ebeen intersting of the Illusiv eman told her how her Grandfather helped him found Cebrerus and really mess with her head. but I guess that's still on the cutting room floor?

Exactly. Their relationship is powered by emotions, so to speak. They're equals, talk like equals, act like equals - Shepard and Ashley act like a perfect team. Think that makes their relationship so incredible tempting. They're not just lovers but also best friends and comrades, which means, they always can speak their mind. If one of the three bonds fail, the other two will prevail - and allow the third one to heal over time.

Must say, however, on Horizon, all three bonds failed. There was a fourth "secret" bond I'd like to call "past love" - which was created in the moment when Ash wrote that letter. And that one was needed to repair the rest of the bonds.
Their love is quite unique and still very authentic: it's not a supernatural love or something.
