Ash has a certain type of fire in her character. You either love it or hate it.

That's how I see it anyway! :)

As long as the fire doesn't run out of fuel, I'm absolutely with you. Ashley is an incredible passionate person - and at the same time, she's a "deep water". Kinda rare to find, but it's as Shepard said: you know it when realizing you just found a good thing.

Always felt attracted to strong women. And I know there's not the slighest chance such woman would feel attracted to me - it's just a dream. One of the best ones, tbh ;)

I believe his exact words are with a smile in his eyes:

Shepard: "I'm sane enough to know when I've stumbled across a good thing."
Ashley: You... don't have to say anything, Shepard.
Shepard: No. I do. I love you.

Nothing is impossible. :)

Ash has a very strong will and a sense of duty. Some guys don't like that because they feel it intrudes upon what they see as their territory in the relationship. It wouldn't surprise me that this why Ashley's character gets so much hate from a lot of male players! It's a good thing we're not all like that though.

I still say the goodbye part was the best set of words with Ash, emotion-wise. It's always great to hear Ash say "I love you" to Shepard. And her teared-up "Aye aye, Captain" hit me hard as well. Made me want to fight even harder for her.

That's odd - basically, you're saying men don't go for strong women because they're fighting in their territory.

I say it's all about the challenge. A truly equal relationship is also a challenging one. Since there's a constant challenge, the love won't ever get old. I see a lot of bored ppl all day - and all have "easy going relationships". Doesn't mean they don't break up one day - they do.

Guess I love Ash that much since she's an archetype for a woman that provides a good challenge.

I did cringe when she kissed my Shepard's helmet.

She clearly has no idea how much blood Shepard has had to wipe off that thing from combat.

It was funnier when Jack swiped him.

"Joke's on you Jack, you just slapped a helmet. How did that feel?"

You should check out the book "The Game" by Neil Strauss. A lof of people do not agree with his methods (he's a pick up artist) - but he goes into the psychology behind relationships and what makes them work in a very interesting manner.  You stand to learn a lot. I know I did B).

wait, what?! When did that happen? Who did that?!

Oh.. came into conversation at the end.

Thought there was a scene where Ash was kissing just Shepard's helmet while he was off doing something, like an 'I miss you' or 'good luck, skipper' kind of thing... -.-

It's the final conversation. If you wear a helmet then she kisses the mouth piece.

So there's a site that was showing ME characters that have real world lookalikes and they had one for Ash.

Posted Image

They could have picked a better picture for Ash, but you get the idea. What do you guys think? Looks like a pretty decent comparison.

Head Spectre was too generic according to Aurora. Grand Spectre seems more like an award similar to "employee of the year" to be honest. Too preachy.
