You should check out the book "The Game" by Neil Strauss. A lof of people do not agree with his methods (he's a pick up artist) - but he goes into the psychology behind relationships and what makes them work in a very interesting manner. You stand to learn a lot. I know I did.
I'll check it out. Believe me, I'm doing it wrong. The only challenge in my relationship is NOT to get unhappy - my girl has a tendency to attract drama. The bad kind - since it never ends
Guess it's just the reality. We might have an idea about the ideal partner, dreams and wishes - but we also know that perfect partner doesn't exist. Some are closer to that image, most are far, far away. In my case she's somewhere between.
Ashley gives me the idea, what I am missing in my relationship. And that's a totally honest statement.

Head Spectre was too generic according to Aurora. Grand Spectre seems more like an award similar to "employee of the year" to be honest. Too preachy.TERASQUE wrote...
Shepards new rank :
Grand Spectre? Head Spectre?
It's very british, but you could have Brigadier...
Just a though! Please don't hurt me, lol!

I don't think Shepard could be a "head" Spectre. Spectres are all independent and have the same amount of authority, they don't have ranks. They all report directly to the Council.
That said, he could be their "leader" in an unofficial capacity, like the Spectre you meet in ME3.

You know, it's apparent that the people who say she's racist didn't take her to see Captain Anderson during the Normandy lockdown in ME1. While going there, there's that side-mission dealing with the Terra Firma Party and she calls them out for being racist. Of course, I'm just preaching to the choir here...Clone 071 wrote...
Yeah, that's understandable. Only this time around, it's because of the Cerberus connection ties that Shepard previously had. Honestly, I'd rather see that than the "she's a racist b!tch" remark. Either way, doesn't help her case unfortunately.Mdoggy1214 wrote...
I know but i'm also referring to the unbelievable amount of hatred she gets.

So there's a site that was showing ME characters that have real world lookalikes and they had one for Ash.
They could have picked a better picture for Ash, but you get the idea. What do you guys think? Looks like a pretty decent comparison.
Maybe but I think Erica Cerra looks more like her though.

Yeah, unfortunately that's how it is. Mostly because Ash's bear and dog reference that wasn't even intended to be racist according to her ME1 writer. People see that and it's "WTF, screw you racist b!tch!" or some sort. And secondly, because players were too dumb enough to allocate points to either charm or intimidate or didn't do Wrex's family armor mission that Ash kills Wrex on Virmire because of their stupidity. People see that and it's "WTF!?! I liked Wrex, and you killed him!?!" And then the Virmire decision comes... <_< I could go on and on all day.Td1984 wrote...

I'm glad they put the extra dialogue with Ash and Terra Firma, but by then, Ash is Virmired by the haters, so they could care less. Not much we can do except hold the line in defense of Ash.

I'm pretty sure Ashly and Shepard spar regularly depending on the shepard so there's much more than slapping going on. XD

I actually believe Tali's and Garrus's romances in ME3 are worse than Ash's, and I like Tali and Garrus at that.ADLegend21 wrote...

But they still have plenty of dialogues in game.. Even Tali and she can join to us really late.Clone 071 wrote...

Garrus' romance works if you consider all the bro-scenes as part of the romance arc.
Liara's romance feels so complete since you have plenty of romantic and non-romantic fluff to watch and enjoy.
Ashley got the shortest end of the stick out of the three original romances. Which is really sad - all three romances started pretty much on equal terms.

That reminds me of the times when I was experiencing fresh, new love ...
Too bad it can't last forever. At least not IRL
