I want Shepley family damnit. And I want Shepard to be a really protective daddy. After all the ****, he's been through, he's probably not gonna be looking for his kids to join the military. Ash might, but not Shepard I don't think.

I just want an ending that allows us to imagine that with out first having to pretend it wasn't real.

at the very least the could have made it so your LI makes it to the beam instead of Anderson, and Anderson only goes inside the beam if your LI isn't there or something like that. at-least they could of died in each others arms or something.

Personally, I would rather an ending that leaves Shepard and Ash together but leaves it at that, leaves the rest to our imaginations.

If we're stuck with the ending the way it is then I'm happy knowing she survived.  After everything else that would just make it worse.

Nah, I've been free of Mickeydees (McDonalds) for 10+ years now. Even if I was 3 fries short of a happy meal back who knows when, I wouldn't remember it.

I can't see why more people don't just interpret the normandy scene as being shepard picturing his crew some place safe and far away. If you want to believe that when shepard wakes up ashley and your other squad mate are lying there beside him, do it.

Someone on the IMDB forums posted an idea for different ending cutscenes.  His idea for a happy ending was Shepard being made a member of the council with Ashley or Liare pregnant at his side.
