Sometimes fewer is better. Having more than three would have felt cluttered. And now everyone thinks of Garrus as a bro. Not saying i'm one of em, hell if my Shep got married Garrus woulda been the best man. But still, it's not a feeling shared by everyone.

Usually, they are spontaneous, but some times I take inspiration from family, but that's very rare.

 Although I can't really see that in Ash's mind, it still pleased me.

That dialogue reminds me of the citadel date scene
which went something along the lines of this       (cut parts out u all probably heard already)

Shepard: I cant think of anything but you right now. Ash
Ashley: Well thats good..blah blah...Table dance....blah
Ashley: Are we going somewhere Shepard?
Shepard: Not right now we have too much to do.. like saving tha galaxy
Ashley: Wow you know how to let a girl down easy... ... ...
Ashley: can i still look at your sweet ass?
Shepard: it's only fair
Ashley: your a crappy commander
Shepard: crappy commander...
