See, in lore. If I romanced someone else, I wouldn't mind Ash and james getting together. They have a kind of chemistry. Hell, Shep stood there and kind of laughed at poor Ash drunk, didn't even off to make her a hangover cure or anything, James went and made her some breakfast.
