Ashley is the woman that my Shepard wished he married the first time.

That's one of my gripes overall with the Mass Effect series. Too often the most obvious solution isn't available and you are stuck with two polarised choices. They addressed this in 3 to an extent, but the stand off still remains poorly constructed.

Not being presented with a realistic option breaks story immersion too. I see the stand off as nothing more than a character assassination.

I also think that the entire Virmire situation could have been avoided leaving both Kaiden and Ashley alive. By the time the bomb had been planted, Kirrahe's diversion force had become useless as the battlefield had evolved beyond the scope of their objective. They could easily have withdrawn.

It seriously feels like ME3 is trying to get me to romance Liara

It was originally scripted for Ash and Kaidan to survive virmire, the debriefing was recovered and everything, but cut from the final game.

Telling her to eff off isn't an option. Shepard will often state she's a good friend. Not to f*cking Jon-Mal. Maybe once, but after the whole 'sold my corpse to Cerberus' deal he wasn't very open to being her friend. 'Specially since it screwed up his relationship with Ash which was about the only thing he wanted to keep from the whole Reaper/Prothean beacon episode.

She didn't sell your corpse. They were the only ones who could bring you back, Liara didn't do anything selfish

wasn't it give it to cerberus or the collectors sort of deal, she chose the less of two evils I suppose.

I'm gonna agree with you somewhat, Aurora. I see her as a good friend - someone who has looked out for Shepard. That alone deserves to be rewarded. But I do get the impression she tries to throw herself on to Shepard a few times. I let her do the mind-rape or whatever the hell that thing was because I trusted her and I didn't want to upset her (I see Liara as more susceptible to being upset over such a thing than Ashley).

Whether she has betrayed that trust remains to be seen. What the hell was it that she did? Shepard looked as confused as I did.

She brought you back because she 'couldn't let you go'. Did Shepard ask to be brought back? And pretty much placed into indetenured servitude?

Granted it was fun to tell TIM to ****** off after blowing up the Collector base. :P

Can you please stop with the mind rape?
All she did was show you her memories with you.

No, I mean when Shepard is reconstructed, it's her fault he ends up with Cerberus.

Anyway. Back to the Ash.

There was no indentured servitude you could of walked away anytime.
I'm no Liara fanboy but what you're saying is just silly. If Ash did the same thing you would be saying how sweet it is

You must be ****ing kidding me.

Was she just supposed to let you die?

She did what she thought was best. That is all that matters.

Back to ASH-MOOSE!!!!

Someone wanna write a dialogue or something? I'm liberating Horizon... and thinking that Amateratsu might be a good planet for an Ash-Exclusive DLC.

Maybe a romanced Ash would have differnet dialogue, planning a future house. Or walking around the terrain explaining where she grew up. What kind of kid she was like.

Gimme a good pic and I might write a dialogue, Aurora ^^

I'm a bit dry after churning out those three super-dialogues a page ago (or two) ...

Im still very mad at ash. She spent a game and a half not trusting me. Then is still cold fish after we get back together. I had the feeling she still never trusted me. And only called me skipper once. ...sniff... i used to love that.

Yeah, maybe there could be an Ash DLC centered around liberating Horizon. Possibly another important artifact - or possibly rescue mission for Admiral Hackett or some other big-wig?

I'm not mad at Ash but mad at BW ... that's a difference, buddy.
To keep my love for Ash, I need to headcanon interaction and dialogues with her.
