Joker: it's called Space Magic, Ashley. And we are leaving because I need to film Robot Chicken and Family Guy and no way I'm gonna to be part of that ending!
Ashley: *pulls out boomstick* go back, I love him! I will never leave him!
Joker: *Pulls out wand* Leviticus Bull****us!
Ashley: wait whaaa? *joker shows her horrible ending* who would do such a thing
Joker: They call themselves Mac Walters and Casey Hudson
Ashley: this doesn't make sense!!!
Joker: of course it's called Space Ma-...
Ashley: *shoots joker* no way I'm ending up on Gilligans Island

Yea just the once. And it didnt have that natural affection/teasing lit to it that was there in the first game. I was real let down i never really "fell back in love " with her. All my affection to her is still tied to me1.
Can understand you. My headcanon is still using the Ash from ME1 as template + the new scenes in ME3. Outside those scenes, Ash isn't really Ash.
And I love when Ashley calls Shepard "Skipper". It's incredible flirty and always gives me a tingly feeling

She is still awesome in ME3 though!
Maybe not as amazing as in ME1 but I absolutely loved her in ME3

Alot of ash fans seem to focus on her badassness. When i played me1 the first time i was flirting with both LIs trying to make up my mind. The scene where you catch ash giggling with her sister over vid comm about how cute you are is what settled it for me. Seeing her girly side. Her love of poetry. Her religous faith. Our casualy familliar relationship the whole game. I loved it all. Me3 gave me a little closure with her but i never felt we got past the getting to know eachother all over again. Phase.
Lemme put it this way:
For me, Ashley is pretty much the archetype of a perfect woman. It's not just that she's a badass soldier, but also still a woman that is able to love and wants to share her life with a man. She's not an extra but a true companion, so to speak. A true love.
It's the complete bundle. My Ash is badass AND loving. And meeting such woman is ... a very tempting dream of mine. Despite all the "I'm already taken stuff" ...

Shepard: Kind of cute, but she's more like the little sister I never had.
Garrus: Fair enough, Jack.
Shepard: Scares the ****** out of me, but she linked me up with some great tattoo artists. Next.
Garrus: Miranda.
Shepard: Easy on the eyes. But I've seen better.
Garrus: Ashley.
Shepard: She's fat.
Ashley: Shepard!
Garrus: That's not a nice thing to say about the Lieutenant.
Shepard: What? P-H-A-T. 'Pretty hot and tempting'... what did you think I meant?

"Men's Evening"
Vega: Sooo, men ... no girls here, right?
Garrus: Nope.
Joker: I even asked EDI to cut the microphones here, so ... no girls. Not even EDI.
Cortez: So, lets talk about manly stuff ... wait ... oops ... sorry.
Shepard: So, what's the topic today, James?
Vega: The Normandy's women. Easy, huh?
Joker: EDI!!! Discuss!
Vega: Okay. Who think she's hot?
Garrus: Meh ... she's a robot. I'm not into that stuff.
Shepard: Hmm, yes, very tempting body. But first impression got damaged on Mars, so ... 5/10.
Joker: That wasn't EDI, Commander.
Shepard: I know. Just can't get the image of her smashing Ashley out of my mind.
Joker: Okay. Think she's hot. My girl! Hottest of all! And she can kiss ...
Cortez: I'm not into girls, you know?
Vega: Uhh, yes. So EDI is considered as hot? I concur.
Shepard: Okay, can accept it.
Vega: What about Samantha?
Shepard: Smoking ... yup.
Joker: She's cute. And she has that lovely accent ...
Vega: Yeah. Tried to ask her for a date but ...
Cortez: She's lesbian, Vega. Better ask a real lover. Like me.
Vega: Riiiight ... uhh, Garrus?
Garrus: Now, she helped me with calibrations ... so I consider her as loveable. Yep. Pretty much.
Shepard: Ever played a game of chess with her, Garrus?
Garrus: Not yet. Should I?
Shepard: If you can get her on your boat, why not?
Vega: Fine. Traynor is hot. Next point?
Cortez: The Commander!
Shepard: Yes?
Cortez: He's hot! ... wait. No one said we're just talking about women!
Joker: God, Steve ... I wouldn't even think of Shepard like that if he were a smokin' hot woman.
Vega: "Men's evening". No talk about men, Steve.
Cortez: Well, that sucks. At least the beer is fine.
Garrus: What about Tali?
Shepard: Cute. No idea how she looks, but cute.
Vega: I'd like to see her first, if you know what I mean, Garrus. Bet Kenneth would tell you stories ...
Joker: I have that page full of fanart ... okay, most of that stuff shows her naked but hey ... better than nothing.
Vega: Sometimes you're just creepy, Joker.
Garrus: It's all about character. She's beautiful and loving and ... even eats the same stuff like I do! And all the calibrations I could do with her suit ...
Cortez: Thanks for that mental image, Garrus.
Garrus: You're welcome.
Shepard: Hmmm ... what do you think about Liara?
Vega: Liara? I'm surprised, Commander, why Liara? Isn't Ash the girl you're after?
Shepard: Uh ... I want to hear your opinion about Liara. That's it.
Vega: Now ... she's hot. Big talents. Fine ass. And her eyes ...
Joker: Wouldn't mind a mind melt session or two with her. Azure anyone? Also I have this dream inviting her and a Hanar ...
Vega: No thanks.
Joker: ... for some tentacle action ...
Vega: THANKS!
Joker: ... or reenacting that flic I saw yesterday ... mind a threesome, Garrus?
Vega: ... are you done?
Joker: Yup.
Garrus: No. I mean yes. I won't do that.
Shepard: What ... was that?
Cortez: Don't ask. Someone get my brain bleach!
Vega: *sigh* whatever. Liara is hot, I got it. Who's next? Ashley?
Joker: Talking about the Commander's girlfriend? Now ... I'm out here.
Shepard: No way to get out of this, Jeff.
Garrus: She's a good catch. It's an honor to fight with her side by side. And very beautiful - for a human.
Joker: Okay, okay. She's the Normandy's tasty chick. Right? Heard even the Playboy asked her.
Shepard: Really?
Joker: Yep. Whatever.
Vega: Mind if I say she would be my girl without the Commander around?
Shepard: I'm still here, Vega.
Vega: I'm just saying it. Without you, I would date her. No offense, Loco.
Shepard: None taken. As long as you don't date Ash.
Vega: Of course not. Don't mess with the boss' wife, I'm not loco.
Garrus: Where's Cortez?
Joker: Brainbleaching. Oh, wait. He's done with that. Someone get him to the sickbay.
