Ashley: What happened? I was on Earth with Shepard running to the beam now I'm on the Normandy how is this possible? And why are we leaving him behind?

Joker: it's called Space Magic, Ashley. And we are leaving because I need to film Robot Chicken and Family Guy and no way I'm gonna to be part of that ending!

Ashley: *pulls out boomstick* go back, I love him! I will never leave him!

She does call you Skipper. Doing a second play through and she's just joined the Normandy. I'm struggling to remember exactly where it is, but I think it's after you shoot Udina. you tell her to do something or go somewhere or something and she says "Ay, ay Skipper" or something like that. She defiantly says it. I remember think at the time "Ah, so she does say that then!"

Yea just the once. And it didnt have that natural affection/teasing lit to it that was there in the first game. I was real let down i never really "fell back in love " with her. All my affection to her is still tied to me1.

I loved her the most in ME1 I wasn't to find of her in ME2 but in ME3 I fell even more in love with her

Can understand you. My headcanon is still using the Ash from ME1 as template + the new scenes in ME3. Outside those scenes, Ash isn't really Ash.

And I love when Ashley calls Shepard "Skipper". It's incredible flirty and always gives me a tingly feeling

She is still awesome in ME3 though!
Maybe not as amazing as in ME1 but I absolutely loved her in ME3

Alot of ash fans seem to focus on her badassness. When i played me1 the first time i was flirting with both LIs trying to make up my mind. The scene where you catch ash giggling with her sister over vid comm about how cute you are is what settled it for me. Seeing her girly side. Her love of poetry. Her religous faith. Our casualy familliar relationship the whole game. I loved it all. Me3 gave me a little closure with her but i never felt we got past the getting to know eachother all over again. Phase.

Lemme put it this way:

For me, Ashley is pretty much the archetype of a perfect woman. It's not just that she's a badass soldier, but also still a woman that is able to love and wants to share her life with a man. She's not an extra but a true companion, so to speak. A true love.

It's the complete bundle. My Ash is badass AND loving. And meeting such woman is ... a very tempting dream of mine. Despite all the "I'm already taken stuff" ...
