I miss her red and white, yes, but as I said. From a visual point of view, the new blue and gold Ashley wears are a nice complimentary colour match to Shepard's iconic black and red.
From a visual point of view, its acceptable. I actually prefer it more.

An imported ME2 Vanguard is just OP, specially if you focus everything into Nova and Charge. Lol.
