I'm with Brain on this. Ash is still Ash, just more mature. Sure, we may not have the dialogue conversations we want to have with her, but that doesn't necessarily mean she is not the same person. Same can be said for Shepard on Project Lazarus. He was rebuilt, but that doesn't mean he's not the same person either.Mr. Brainheart wrote...
Annnddd..I'm back...but apparently in the Ashley Williams depression thread?
1. Poetry: I figure she used it a lot mainly because she didn't know another way of putting it, but she has seen more of life and matured a bit and maybe she just knows to express herself better. I don't see a reason for her to become a poetry spouting machine, grabbing every chance to fling some poetry in. It works because she uses it in moderation, and she still uses poetry in ME3, when it felt appropriate.
2.Boobs thing...Why mention this with Ashley?! Her character is completely intact, she at no point NEEDS boobs to draw your attention away from an awful/shallow character. She IS the old Ash, too much so in fact. We barely learned anything new about her and the maturing barely affected her. That's a more valid complaint IMO.
3. @Reed; I guess she doesn't say ass or something along those lines because she had to learn some diplomacy, and I can't imagine that'd work without her actively constraining what she says whenever she can. Although admittedly, that's not a great argument, but it makes some sense.
