I respect your courage at posting this in a Tali thread. I also greatly respect your opinion and desire for both a bad and good outcome for Tali.

Personally, Tali is on a "sacred" list. Not because she's a romance, but because she was part of the original team. She helped out Shepard and stuck by him in Mass Effect 2, like Garrus. All the characters in Mass Effect 1 are special for me, and if I take down the Reapers I'd much rather have Tali or Garrus or Wrex or Liara or Kaidan or even Ashley (which, personally, I despise, but would have saved her if it was possible) than anyone from Mass Effect 2. It's just a sort of personal love for the ones who were with Shepard through it all. The romance is just a plus (or a minus, for people with different opinions).

Besides, she is somewhat of an important character, especially in the face of the Geth/Quarian conflict. I don't trust Bioware to deliver good content for dead characters. Even the characters I hate the most I wouldn't mind seeing again in Mass Effect 3, because I secretly love them all :3.

Anyway, that's my two cents on Tali. Hell, that's my two cents on most of the characters in Mass Effect.

Hmm, okay. Honestly, I'd suggest you to simply don't recruit her (I think it's really likey that she'll be dead if Shepard won't save her on Haestrom) so you'll be free of her since ME2. No one can blame you for disliking a certain character, but surely it's funnier focusing in the ones you like instead of thinking ways to kill the ones you don't.

There's a visible HUD on her DLC outfit. But I'm assuming all her outfits have it. To monitor her suit integrity if nothing else.

Off course she has some HUDs into her faceplate (we had a pretty close view of the inside of it :3) but I think she doesn't need all the interfaces of the IronMan's. All she needs to be displayed is something to check that her suit is still intact, that her life parameters are ok and some ambiental values.

From the few rumors we have, the Migrant Fleet should be one of the first location we'll visit after escaping earth. So, even if she'll leave the Normandy we may take her back pretty soon

So who else wants to build her a home on Rannoch? I think the location on Reaper base gameplay vid is Rannoch (because the quarian fleet is in orbit and they said its an early game level).
As for seeing Tali's face, I really want that and ME3 will be our last chance for this. If someone here got a twitter account you should maybe ask Casy for some info like Miranda fans did

I dunno about Rannoch being an early level, it is clear on the other side of the galaxy from Earth, quite literally (the Local Cluster is in the Southwest, the Perseus Veil is in the Northeast). Would the Reapers really be able to get over there so fast?

The combat drone is one of the most underestimated skills in the game. If you know how to use it, sometimes you can kill an entire group without taking much damage.

I've started another save of ME2, whens the earlier opportunity to get Tali? Cos I felt in my first save I didn't get to use her that much cos I dawdled on recruiting her

You can go recruit her after you fight on Horizon.  That's the earliest you can pick her up for your squad.

Anyway, the thing I would await mostly, is the conclusion of the Tali LI plot in ME3. Also maybe some more info about Quarians themselves. C'mon BioWare, we need it! ^^

I could see the Quarians viewing non-professional relationships with aliens as Taboo. The migrant fleet has to carefully control population levels, and a Quarian that is in a relationship with an alien is most likely not living on the migrant fleet leading a productive life. (for the fleet)

It would certainly be viewed in a negative light within citadel space however. The Quarians simply cause too much trouble within citadel space, and have too many stereotypical bigotry directed at them to be fully accepted. (although it certainly still happens it seem according to ME2)

I just want to see Tali's face, I felt so cheated in my first play through of ME2. Bioware I am sure knows this and I hope we see more of Tali and Quarians alike, Tali on her home world would be utterly amazing which I can see happening least with other Quarians cause of the upcoming conflict with the Geth.

Forbidden not, but I think xenophilia in quarian society may be considered "unconvenient" as happens for homesexuality between humans. So simply there will be quarians that more open-minded than others who won't have problems with mix couples. I bet that Shala'Raan may be one on those. She looks like she just wants Tali safe and happy.

Outside the Fleet is another story. Quarians are almost universally despised... I won't be surprised if the popular idea is that dating a quarian is bad as dating a batarian or a krogan.

Personally, I am expecting Tali to see her home planet say something along the lines "I don't need no stinking house." and fly off into space never to land on solid ground again unless it's totally necessary.

seriously though,  Hybrid baby is the worst idea ever.  Hell,  it's not even possible...  the chemical make up is completely wrong?  Even if SOMEHOW inception happened the fetus would be destroyed by the bodies natural responces.
