I got the Jonah reference instantly in ME3. That kid deserves to be adopted. After Tali and Shep get back to the homeworld and build the house, of course.

@TrueMadayar Why you no like gamer_girl? :( Sad panda. And I wasn't the one who actually derailed the topic. They were talking about Samara taking a dump before I came back from playing multiplayer.

I cannot like you, you haven't been on your pilgrimage yet, you're not legal - Mass Effect theorism here. Also, I believe you being online before triggered them. I enjoyed the topics you brought up after I was gone, and blame you for missing them - thus I brought back Jonah. Girlfriend issues would derail the thread again, though, so I will let them rest or PM.

Dunno, tutored, probably, he was adopted already for sure. Still, we never met a Quarian kid so far. Jonah has to be the first, he would deserve it. A rescue mission, maybe, in a DLC, reminding them about the parents would get Shepard and Tali rather quickly into any shuttle to some stranded life ship tumbling towards Earth's central star trying to save survivors.

We only meet one kid (apart from grunt) in the whole trilogy, and look how that turned out:O!

Yeah, was the worst of them all in the end, and we had to obey him.

Seems Mass Effect isn't all too nice to kids...I mean, kids characters. Maybe it's good that Tali and Shepard can't reproduce. And I fear now for the blue babies the Liaramancers want to summon.

So, anyone know about the extra dialogue Tali has in the Tuchanka non priority missions?

Well, if you can, take her along for the Victus and Bomb missions, it's interesting.

She doesn't talk in the curing the genophage mission, and I'm going to see if she says anything during the Cerberus Coup on the citadel.

Frankly, I think there is a lot of fear about portraying children in video games...which is understandable, given our laws and how quick the public accuses others of being a child abuser or molestor even with actions that don't even come close to such accusations.  For this reason, I tend to stay away from kids in real-life...I don't really care, and I don't want to get in trouble.

As for if Shepard and Tali have kids...I've now decided.  If Tali wants to have kids, then ill go for it, doesn't matter which method is available.  If not, I probably wont.  It's not like my fingers have to go numb if I decide to have kids, or my mind to explode because most of the real-life stresses of having children or being in a relationship are not applied in excess in Mass Effect.

Is it even possible to get her before the Citadel coup?  I thought that does not open up until after - the Quarian part.

But biting Geth troopers is the best part of the game. What fun are you?

Heavy melee bite?  Scary...though I think id rather bite a geth trooper than to bite Tali, that wouldn't be too nice...plus I don't want to puncture her lovely suit and possibly give her a nasty infection.  Oral contact can be deadly...

Nothing wrong with a bit of nibbling. My headcanon picture of a quarian also has enlongated incisors. Too bad tali hasn't used hers for eating much steak.

Interesting, my head cannon Tali has a VERY long tongue, she does amazing things when she kisses shepard...

Are you a member of the split tongue crowd? and if so, who started that idea? Is it like the cinnamon smell, where a dev said "snake tongue" in the same sentence as quarian, and everyone made a subconcious connection?

I doubt quarians have long tongues.  Especially forked ones.  But thats not saying its impossible, no source i've seen has clearly stated what a quarian's tongue looks like...and by the way, im sure if I want to know what Tali does with that tongue...I might gag thinking about it.

Well, if portraying them wrongly was their concern - first they created a fully grown one with a horrible temper (Grunt), then they half-orphaned one and cut his mother's message of love short by murder (Jonah), then they shot one out of the sky (kid on Earth), then they repeatedly burned that same kid in several cutscenes, then they fully orphaned the same kid that they half-orphaned before by killing off his father just when he reached the world he wanted to live him on, and then they made the kid on Earth into the genocidal essence of evil and made Shepard obey him. They obviously fear to show kids as something positive!

Yeah, same here. I mean, with Tali wanting kids, I would agree. Orphans, as repeatedly stated, plentiful after every war. Still, I hope she waits till she found me and pulled me out from under that rubble...would like to have some alone time with her for a while.

Hey, anser adamantius. You were lucky to participate in so many nice discussions last night. I will go to sleep again - hopefully you guys won't take that as a cue to start the good stuff again. I feel left behind.

I heard that! Stop being freaky when I'm gone. I like freaky! I'm just pissed if somebody does it when I'm not able to participate!

1.  The dual tongue thing came from an old NSFW fanfic about Tali.
2.  Weekes himself said quarians smell like cinnamon and honey.

"Tali, what are you doing?"
"Shepard you have to help! I've grown fur all over! Garrus says I've turned into some sort of old Earth monster!"
"I think he just glued fur to your suit while you were sleeping."
"... Oh. That would explain why I'm not craving the flesh of the innocent like he said I would..."
