I fully agree. Convergent evolution has been my explanation for quarian/human biological similarities for a couple of years now. Whether she looks too human or too alien is simply a matter of personal taste.

I just find it completely unsound when people say her canon look "deviates" from known lore, because she's too human. No one is saying that here, but I've read plenty of rage posts about canon Tali this past month.

i always wondered, why is every talimancer okay with the canon face, but the "normal" fan isn't?

I am a talimancer since ME1 and i didn't know until ME3, that quarians are the most human looking race, now i am pleased with her face, but even if she would look like a predator, i wouldn't care, i like her behaviour and how she acts, not how she looks, otherwise i'd go for Liara...blue sexy chick....

I'm a talimancer and the canon face definitely dissapointed my personal tastes.

My two cents to that: Because we are Talimancers. We don't really care for her face, not even one quarter as much as her voice, and none compared to her personality. And it was tastefully embedded at the time. It was something we could look at for motivation before missions or why we do all this. As that, it did its deed, although she pulled it off the extranet, because whenever would she have had time for taking it, anyway?

I like the canon face and am a talimancer. And the canon lore does establish they are the most human looking. So I am happy overall

I'd like to make it clear I am indeed expressing personal taste and not raging over canon Tali. Well, I am disspointed canon Tali was just a quick photoshop of a stock photo, but that's another discussion all together.

Besides that I find the potential dialogue of Shepard unmasking a more xeno Tali could be very sweet. She'd probably be very self-concious about not having hair, or Irises or lips, knowing how important those are to human ideals of feminine beauty.

Oh, I know. Wasn't accusing anyone here. That's why I come to this forum. People here are civil and don't resort to hyperbole when expressing themselves. 

I respect your opinion, and I agree, that would make for some potentially interesting conversations.

It would make for a lot of ''I love you just the way.'' dialogue.

I love the way Tali looks in the photo. Except the hand, (although I do like it more than the fan photo even with the hand edited). Even if it is lazy from Bioware.

Reload the rannoch mission and destroy their entire race, might help.

Also, do you think we could add each other on Origin? I haven't actually done multiplayer with anyone but totally anonymous people.

Well I always go the peace route between quarians and geth. Both sides deserve to live imo. and I don't hate geth lore-wise. I just hate geth pyros, geth primes, geth rocket troopers and geth hunters with a FIERY PASSION  in MP.
