Now why is it that BW named my favourite weapon in all of ME after those vile creatures?! They must know that I'm terrified of spiders and were like "Hey, ya know what would be funny?! Naming the best weapon after this disgusting thing that has too many legs and too many eyes just to make gamer_girl a sad panda!" Damn you, BioWare and your mind reading sadism. :/

They are twofold (from what I'm aware of - maybe there's more) black widow and brown recluse.
Black widow is rarely deadly, especially to grown-ups with normal immune system. So Tali would have to worry, and since you are like her, maybe you, too. The brown recluse isn't lethal. Canada's too cold for most poisonous spiders.
And in Germany there is no registered death of a spider bite other than an allergic reaction, and that's only from people who imported or handled foreign spiders. No Black Widows come that much north.
So, this is a safe place. We have two poisonous snakes, but very secluded and I have never even seen one, and none are lethal to a grown human without allergies. Actually...the most murderous animal in Germany? The common honey bee.
That's why we have drones to protect us.

See?! My fears are not irrational... Well except for zombies and possessions and clowns, but other than that my fears are *normal*.
Now you see why me and Tali are cool cause we're both afraid of things that have too many bloody limbs.
Clowns are pure evil, fearing them is smart. I had both where I lived at one point. Not fun running into a black widow in your bedroom.
Also, Brown Recluse spiders are the worst thing ever thought of.
Ever.
Tali is right to be scared of Spiders.
P.S. I once killed a pair of Giant Beetles with a Shotgun. It was incredibly gratifying.

I am still having trouble referring to this unit as "I". My fellow Geth and I are still adapting to formal addressing protocols.
I choose to digress. What is new in the forum concerning Creator Zorah?

To be fair, they didn't just take Miss England 2005's stock image, add pupil-less eyes and facial markings, and call it a day. Although subtle, they did play around with the positioning and structure of her nose and eyes.

Meh, I just increased the contrast and played around with the perspective to match the stock image. The insides of her eyes were cropped, while her eyes as a whole were given a slanted appearance. Overall, her eyes are stretched apart and angled in relation to her human counterpart.
The nose, the way I see it, they tried to reconstruct the base in order to make her nostrils look like slits. In other words, it's as if she has no skin above her nostrils like humans do. You can see remnants of the original shadow where that skin should be.
All in all, they did attempt to make her a little more "alien" with her facial structure. If there's enough demand for extra Tali content (modeled and animated 3D face), these subtle differences should be made more prominent with higher quality.

That's really interesting. So bioware isnt AS lazy as everyone had been making them out to be. I thought there were some subtle differences but nothing concrete. Thanks for this. Insight into Tali. Subtlety is genius. i like the photo a lot more nowMessier87 wrote...

I have a horrible immune system. I seem to get sick all the time. And even extreme temperatures and smells can have strange effects on me. Like I can't go out in the summer for a normal amount of time because I get heat exhaustion. Extreme cold makes me almost feel numb. Febreeze makes me sneeze and my eyes get teary because it's too strong, even normal shampoos get me sneezing for a while. I think if mundane occurences can have that effect on me I have a feeling a fairly potent spider venom would be problematic to say the least.

I can see the subtleties now that you mention it. Then again I still love the photo anyways. My only problem with it was that they forgot to add some length between her fingers.

Go outside and eat a handful of dirt. Do so every day, once a day, for a year. You will then have an awesome immune system, just like me! Not even bacterial menengitis can take me out.gamer_girl wrote...

I and most of the Geth agree that it might be coincidence. We have seen human organics have much more problems.
This unit's organic entity experiences severe inflammation of his arms and legs when exposed to excess amounts of pollen. He also cannot sneeze unless he coughs at the same time (a side effect of untreated pneumonia when he was younger). His lungs are weak, unable to cope with high altitudes for very long. Sweat causes irritation.
We can continue the list for his sake...but we conclude it is enough to digest.
