Bugs me more that the most popular squadmate has no citadel date, shows no skin at all, and generally recieved the least amount of work. The photo was lazy, the romance was short, the sex scenes were from a G rated movie. Either show us skin, or don't pretend that you will. Only thing that was good was the dialogue, but there is so little of it, and the drunk tali scene, but that wasn't even talimance.

What are you talking about? We DID get skin in the romance scene.

You never know...some parts of a quarian's head are not similar to humans, namely the ears. Yeah, sure, what the heck, the tongue might not be either, but who knows? I don't like the idea of getting french-kissed, choked or even impregnated by Tali's tongue, thank you very much.

Anyways...on a more serious note, I still am in debate as to whether or not Tali's eyes actually glow or if it is a feature on her suit that gives others more awareness. Thoughts?

Have you seen the amount of attention the other ME2 romances got? I don't think we have any right to complain.

And with Liara, although she asks for a re-affirmation of the romance as soon as you meet her, it's not brought up again until the "Citadel date" which is well after you pick up Tali. Tali's romance seemed to get much more casual acknowledgement than Liara's, even if Liara had a better love scene.

The only reason the love scene disappointed me is because it's lazy to not show what's under the suit even when we already have the picture, and they did it for the other squadmates.

And Liara's love scene, while nicely done, was definitely still very tame. I've seen TV commercials with more overt eroticism.

The source is definitely the eyes. They either luminesce, or reflect light from behind the retina like canines and felines. I think it is a reflection, as bioluminescense has no real purpose. Also supports the nocturnal theory.

And the tongue people are different than the parasite people. It's kinda complicated.

Hm, excellent points. I retract my earlier statements. TO be completely honost I completely forgot about the majority of those, though, they weren't memorable.

Shep's skin doesnt count. Stupid that they would have tali get RIGHT back into her 2-3 layered skintight environmentally sealed suit IMMEDIATELY after the act, so fast, that shepard doesn't even have time to put a shirt on. Bioware is getting lazy on us. I am very disappointed.

I thought the moments they shared together were very meaningful. Instead of the cliche'd "I love you, I love you too,"
Shepard said Keelah Se'lai, "By the homeworld I hope to see someday." Shepard acknowledging Tali's culture and willingness to be with her where she feels most at home really says something powerful about the two. That's how I felt about their romance anwyays.

So far, most of what I've seen indicates that her eyes naturally glow.  Whenever she removes her mask, the eye dots are not there, even though the mask still has a bit of power on.  (Mass Effect 2 romance scene).  In addition, you may occasionally see her eyes 'blink', but I can't recall a vivid moment when she does that. 

The only evidence that might support that its a suit feature is that some quarians have eyes that look vastly different; I believe Admiral Raan is one example, having eyes that are more square than round.  Other than that, its the only evidence i've seen.  If only there was a quarian that would tell us the answer...

Yah, they did Tali's scene on the conservitive side, but it fit.  But they absolutely botched Thane's romance in ME3.

Not if the quarians can't see at that wavelength. Which would be wierd, since the light from tali's eyes is white, not red or blue. Reflection it is. Quarians have good night vision!yay! HUMAN GENETIC ENGINEERING COULD ALLOW HUMANS TO SEE IN THE INFRARED IN UNDER A DECADE OF RESEARCH. LET'S GET ON THAT.

Yeah, this is exactly the reason I won't complain. I can make little jabs about Shepard showing off more in the romance scene though. Would I liked to have seen a bit more? Sure, the dialogue/scenes I got were awesome enough that of course I'd like to see additional content. I really would have liked to have seen a 3d model of Tali, or even just a few chopped up shots during the romance scene with her undoing bits of the suit and maybe even removing a glove. Maybe Bioware will do something like that in the future, maybe not. At least the photo was something. Meh.

In my personal headcannon, I'm assuming the reason she's completely suited up after the romance scene is that after living in a suit for ~25 years, she doesn't feel completely comfortable being nekkid... even with Shepard. Seems logical to me.

Gah! THIS too! I was so glad they didn't fall into that hole. It's fine when I say it to my significant other, but it just feels so bleh when you hear it in a movie/game. Good on them for adding this little hook to give the romance some additional unique character.

Could they have been more graphic?  If they chose to, sure.  But I don't think it would fit into Tali's character...

I could see her maybe taking pieces of her suit off, for the purpose of, say, Shepard giving Tali a shoulder or other type of body massage, but that's about it really.  Handsies, hugging, kissing, massaging, cudding under the blankets, snuggling, sharing passonate words, a bit of tickling...this kind of stuff would really fit into a Tali romance scene.

The normal people were talking about levels of satisfaction with the romance dialog.
