Just finished portal 2, officially able to game again, helps that story is fairly simple and fun. Ok to stay on topic what is everyone's favorite Tali Loadout?

geth plasma shotgun and arc pistol. she can shoot that arc pistol stupid fast, seriously.:?

I never really trusted Tali with the arc pistol, She seemed to shoot it like a popgun, So I thought a Carnifex was a suitable replacement ^_^

@WizenSlinky0 ....No comment. :P

That's comment enough! Ah, it's so difficult being so beloved by the fanbase.

Not as loved as Tali, of course.

YET!

A house on Rannoch to be built by Sheploo who has no shirt to avoid the heatwaves, and a hard hat.

Tali IS an engineer ... she might want to have a hand in that.

Tali's areas of expertise are AIs and engines, though. Designing or building a house isn't necessarily part of the skillset.

yeah tali will make the design, then she gets to sit back and watch shep build something up for once instead of breaking things. ^.^

It might help with the house though regardless. Engineers, no matter the field, have an amazing grasp of physics, and thus could know which building design would have the best structural integrity.

Unless they're computer engineers like me. I can make sure the house has a kick-ass extranet connection and a central control VI, but that's about it. Same is true for electrical engineers: their training wouldn't include structural design either.

Bottom line: engineer is a pretty broad term. They don't all build bridges. Image IPB

I went with that though later (2nd play through) I changed to the Graal and Paladin. Tali seemed to be a bit more effective that way. To be honest though, I rarely had her using the pistols. The Graal and Plasma Shotgun are good enough at medium range and with my character being a Vanguard there wasn't a whole load of long range shootouts.

I don't think Shepard would be all that great at putting something together. He seems to get sidetracked easily. He'll go out to pick up some more nails and next thing you know he's in a firefight with some mercs on Omega to to rescue the child of the one guy in the galaxy who has the nails he needs. Image IPB

"Shepard, where have you been?! You said you were just going to the hardware store!"
"It's a long story, Tali. At least I got those nails."
"... These are the wrong nails."

@Dilandau3000 so you didn't have to take a ton of physics for your engineering program?

Nope. Haven't done any physics since high school.

Though my master's was in computer science. I sort of went sideways into information engineering when I started my Ph.D.

Its probably for the best the house stays a metaphorical concept, Just like Tali's appearence everyone has their own Idea, would it be some Glass superdome with lazers to brush your teeth? Or a traditional Mud hut? :D

My god, I don't have the determination or the cash to get a masters - let alone a PhD. You, sir, boggle my mind.

Am I the only one who things, that Bioware missed the most obvious opportunity to create one of the most memorable scenes in video game history by not showing us Tali's face when she removes the mask on Rannoch?

The Chief will walk out unhatted before we see Tali rendered in 3d though

Well, she could put a few extra bedrooms into the plan.

Helicopter one reporting heavy traffic.

(In case you're wondering, I renamed an old city Rannoch and let time run at the fastest speed until I hit 2187 Image IPB )

I wish I could give her a noisy cricket...think of the incredible damage she could do with that!  We wouldn't have to launch a fighter into the cerberus base if she had that...talk about heavy firepower...

I think id rather go diving with Tali. With that suit of hers, im sure she can support being in a underwater or space environment for a good amount of time. All I need is my N7 spacesuit and we'll be all set. Might even try interlinking our suits once we're underwater.

They rather insult as with a badly photoshoped stock picture of a Miss Britian or whatever she was.

Sorry to interrupt but I have a question for PS3 Talimancers: During the scene right before Shepard faces the Reaper on Rannoch, and right when Tali declares her love for Shep, the graphic of her face during that moment always appears distorted, even when I reload the save. Has anyone else encountered this? Everything else in the mission is fine, but I think that small graphic glitch occuring at such a pivitol moment breaks the scene a little.
