I agree Saphra, but maybe the gown for 'casual shipwear', not as combat gear.

Notice how in your squad members in ME1 reverted to their default suits on ship? They only seem to wear the armour you equip them with when you disembark.

It would be a similar idea.

If Tali isn't a part of the active, gameplaying crew then I'm going to be MASSIVELY disappointed. Massively.

I believe Tali is confirmed as a companion. BioWare has said she has "unfinished business" with Shepard. "Unfinished business" indeed, eh? =)

Yeah, she has a lot of loyalty for Shepard even without the romance. I really hope that the Quarian homeworld takeover will be a long intense part of the game. I can't wait

I'd have to agree with both of you. I'd love to see some plates on, lets say, her upper arms and outer thighs, lets keep dem hips the same though.

I'd like to see Tali get either some sturdier looking upper torso plating like the shoulderpads of the quarian males or give her back that crazy strong shield strength from ME1.

Plus looks like all the characters so far have an out of combat suit too. So nothing preventing her from having some extra combat-specific plating.

They have ceramic plates that soldiers can add and remove from their armor currently, why wouldn't they have the same tech in a hundred years? I'd love seeing her hop off the shuttle with close to the same amount of armoring as Shep and Garrus, and at least as much as Liara. Remember these are a people where a pinprick could mean death. You would think they'd have the most puncture/tear-resistant armor in the whole galaxy (Bullets classify as a "puncture").

They did a good job with the armor suit for Miranda, so they can make the armor realistic while still fitting the character.

You can perv the hips while ship-side, I want them protected in combat.
