So that means that the admiral they mentioned is most likely not Tali, especially considering how little they've mentioned about her so far.

Yeah, I'm guessing that it is a reference to the known Admiral's in the game (of which I can think of three. I never realised there were that many!). I think that if he was talking about Tali, he would say either 'Tali' or (if he wanted to be coy), perhaps 'Quarian' or 'a certain engineer'.

Just thought i'd stop by after receiving a message from a fellow Talimancer and say hi... I was from the original Tali thread way back when... i think it was right after ME2 was released sometime in January/February... Anyways, it's kinda calming that this thread updates every 10 minutes or so instead every half a second like the old threads...

Anyways i still support Tali and look forward to seeing her in ME3 (as an LI of course...) I'll also try to contribute more here but i'm busy with school and such. I'm in the IB program... so if any of you know what that is then you'll know what i mean... Sorry that this is a bit off topic but i felt i needed to explain my presence (or lack of) here

Look at it from another perspective; if you know everyone has the chance of being killed, but you make the right tactical decisions and save those you care about, just think how much sweeter the win will be knowing you kicked the reapers ass and got Tali her homeworld back in the face of the huge odds against it. Tali will probably appreciate what you did for her all the more!

Yeah, I think many people feel the same way. So, it will be unlikely that Bioware will put the player into a situation where the outcomes leaves them unsatisfied. I am sure the game will be tough, but I think it will ultimately be rewarding.

Your positive attitude has quelled my nerd rage. I guess if she was permanent for at least half of the game i'd be happy:lol: and then she had to lead the fleet in a battle with the reapers above Rannoch, which you later enter that battle to save her and the fleet. EPIC:police:

I don't know about you, but from hearing Casey talk about squadmates, and from info gleaned from various interviews, I get the impression that each character will be with the player for a period of time, and during that time, each will have the 'potential' to be killed. I believe that is why there are no 'full' squadmates as such, like with ME1 and 2. This is the end of the triology, so each characters story will reach its climax. What that climax will be, is in the players hands. This means they could die at 'any' point during ME3, as there is no pressure for them to survive to near the end for the sake of any story continuation.
