2. The genetic make up of Quarians and Humans appears to be relatively familiar. They have mammalian glands, ears that resemble a humanoid appearance. Nose where a nose is and looks like, they have two humanoid-esque eyes. They're bipedal... The only known differences that we know between Quarians and Humans is the immune system, and their protein groups.

The idea is not widely popular....though there are some people who support it behind closed doors..wepethan wrote...

unfortunately there are major differences that would render it impossible. harold's story is the only one I have seen make it plausible and even it was a stretch. The genetic make up of Quarians and Humans appears to be relatively

That's more than enough. Technically Tali's DNA is not even truly DNA, because it's made of different molecules. If a pair of chromosomes extra or missing can make impossible having sane hybrid babies between two species think about how much tricky becomes making a child from two creaturs based one two different kinds of self-replicating molecules.
Also, I don't see so much appealing the idea of having babies: in fanarts is ok, the Buddha's adopted daughter of Tali and Shep is indeed funny, but ingame I find more appealing to see Tali and Shep fighting side by side giving to eachother the strenght to face the impossible, than watching them settle and start to produce mutant babies. I may dig eventually a marriage option (it was a thing already forshadowed, at least for Liara, but we're still speeching of xenophile marriage) but childrens? That's not Fable. More space opera and less soap opera, thanks.
That's just my opinion, off course.

Impossible and a bad idea too. Alien species can't breed together. Period.

That's random combination for Reapers to do.
But then again it's Batarian/human too for Canibal so it might work.

Sorry mate, but we do not have a similar genetic makeup. A spider can look like an ant, doesn't mean they can have babies together. Hell even creatures that we ARE similar to in such a way, primapes for example, can't mate with humans.
No the only way shep and Tali can have a child is one of three ways.
1. Artificial insemination (In which case it will either be human or quarian, not a hybrid)
2. Adoption. (could be a child of any species)
3. The same way Miranda was born. Still either human or Quarian.

I agree. Alien LI's are there so that contraception does not have to be used.Saphra Deden wrote...

Another thought, Sheps semen would probably be poisonous to Tali, or at the very least cause an allergic reaction. So food for thought there.
Not much. She was already "exposed" to Shepard. Fever, cough, and production of liquids, Allergic reaction, annoying but not life-treatening. And that was the first time, quarian immune system is weak, but it's adaptable at least speeching of the allergic reactions. Further "exposures" will cause gradually less acute symptoms, even without arriving to a complete free-of-sickness state.
Off course, I bet that the "do not ingest" suggestion of Mordin works for Tali too

When I said poisinous I was talking about ingestion, and when I said allergic I was talking about the all natural finish.
However I am starting to feel dirty, and I don't know if this is against site rules to talk about so I shall be quiet now.
Edit: also I am not talking about disease, I am talking about cross fluid contact. Having a foreign fluid inside your body just can't be good for her. But still, being quiet now.

Oh and this imo 'is' Tali. I doubt BW can do much better than that.

I imagine Tali might have a hard time settling down too. Most quarians might. Granted they "never leave home", but home always moves. I suppose that could go either way.

I'll give him credit for making her more alien instead of going the usual human/space elf style.
I still don't get why most people make her a space elf.

Only problem is quarians don't have ears. At least, not ones we can see, anyway. One of the comments says, Tali says that in ME1.

The only mention of quarian ears is in the second novel, and the only thing you can logically draw from what is said is that they have recognizable ears from the veiwpoint of a human.Sherned wrote...

And that they "pass for ears" whatever you want to take from that.

This has got to be one of THE best revealed Tali pics out there, IMHO. Only a couple have reached this standard of credibility and beauty.

Yea there are a lot of variables Bioware needs to consider for the Tali romance
-Exiled
-Dead
-Unloyal
-Relationship with Legion
-Cheating romance or not
That's where the "1000s" of variables when importing come in.
I have only just recently romanced Tali, and I found her to be one of the best written and touching in either game.
To degrade Miss Vas Normandy to a VS cameo is a crime.

Well she is a confirmed squaddie, so she is definately more than passing cameo.
While I have not done a playthrough like it yet, I am curious about this whole cheating thing in ME3.
