Sorry to hear that. Well, the hard drive dying that is. and at least you've been spared the ending for a while and can hold out for an announcement at least, eh?

"We created an ending that surpassed our expectations. We couldn't create an ending that would be enough for every player. So we created one aiming at sparking the imagination of the players. The overwhelming feedback proved we were right. The loops we left in the ending created an unimaginable outburst of ideas how the story would continue afterwards. We'll take the ideas and create several download contents from it. The reason we had to do it was that strangely every able writer we had quit when we presented the storyboard for the ending, and so we needed the ideas to cash in some more. Also, we actually kept the cupcakes. They tasted different to us. "

[EDIT] And that's my positive take. The negative states "We wanted every player to create their own ending in their mind so we didn't have to satisfy everybody. The feedback we got has confirmed us. We are dedicated artists and won't change anything. Of course every bug is also part of the art."

I'm a bit gloomy, maybe...give me some Tali, she's always supportive and assuring me that I can solve whatever problem I face...

I could use a drink myself.  Just beat the game again but with a non Talimancer this time. Still left a bad taste in my mouth. >_<

Yeah...Tali was so important in the first game. She fixed that damn tank!

I can't think of a time when I didn't have Tali in my squad in ME1 after getting her. Her dialogue was much more interesting compared to the others(Garrus and Wrex were close)as was her skillset. The class I love the most is the Soldier so her and Garrus seemed like the perfect squad selection every time. Even in 2 and 3.

Tali could crack open everything, hack geth, and repair that stupid tank. She was the most vital in the first game.

Well, from what I've read, team dextro is having Tali and Garrus in your squad all the time. Seems fitting, somewhat...but kind of off since Shepard's amino...hmm.
