The Amazing, The Wonderful, The Mako.

The thing that would've made ME2/3 so much better?

Well at lest the mako made a cameo in ME3, would have been nice to see what the starchild thought of a large Mass accelerator pointed in his face...

We're talking about the speed at which she did it. Was super fast if you spec'd her accordingly.

I believe the only downside Tali ever had was the lack of Assault Rifle usage. Other than that, she was the Hacker side of the Squad and just invaluable.

Never had this problem as I was an infiltrator and killed most things at extreme range. Tali fit in perfectly to get things at close range. Garrus was always around to fit in that middle range bit.

Actually, starting new on hardcore the Sniper Rifle is worthless, I mostly use my sidearm as of now. Need to raise the rifle much more and save up for Spectre level equipment to make this sensible.

What program do you guys use for screenshots? I just got pink armor for Tali, and her face is clearly contured through that visor.

I've only ever played single player on insanity. Did it with an infiltrator and it was fairly easy.

In ME1? I find that rather hard to believe...then again, maybe I took some early turns at the beginning, facing very strong enemies on far too low a level. Also, I never remember that I ever pinkified my favourite Quarian.

Sounds like we're having a bit of a retro evening here tonight? I can go with that. I'll pull up a stool.

Oh, well, then, still easy. Only played through ME3 once, and did that on insanity because everyone I knew was playing on normal.

Ironically, I think ME2 may have been the hardest on Insanity for me.

You could start on Hardcore? I had to unlock it in ME1.

Well, it's strange, I played on Hardcore before, and it seems irritatingly hard right now. Then again, it might be because of ME3 being so entirely different, I had to change so many tactics now, approach much more differently. And I never ever saw Tali being stuck in a doorframe, literally, in the frame of the door, until today. Also, that Mako and aiming...argh!

I don't remember. I haven't played ME1 for like 4 years. I know I started on the highest difficulty available aside from insanity.

I don't remember the Mako being that hard to aim. Although I do mostly remember using it by driving forward, shooting and then reversing round corners, behind rocks or otherwise out of range. I think I only once had to make repairs. I actually kinda miss the Mako. I don't miss roaming around entire planet maps looking for anomalies.

The game did change massively between ME1 and ME2 though. In some ways it became easier, but in other ways harder (like no map, and a bit harder to pause aim).

Tali was great from the start mind. I rarely actually took her and Garrus simultaniously on a mission but it was usually one or the other to unlock stuff (because I had no tech skills as a Vanguard).

I'm pretty sure the highest at first was Veteran, then you unlocked Hardcore, and then you had to beat it again to unlock Insanity.
