YES I was right in that position a few nights ago. Started it, and plowed through 3-4 hours of reading non-stop to finish it. Good stuff

How many chapters are there? I don't want to look ahead and accidently read a line that might ruin anything for me.

AFAIk it's his box that's acting up.

Currently going thru another playthru of ME1...Mako tries this, gets halfway up...falls down. After trying for many minutes guiding this heap of tin back up the climb, i give up and precede to find the long way round.

Me and the mako, we don't get on, (blame the driving on Garrus personally).

1. Raid 0 never seemed worth the hassle to me.

2. Depends on your playstyle probably. ME1 did lack some useful things such as Charge for Vanguards and the actual ability to headshot for Infiltrators. Plus the overheating takes some getting used to (or just a heatsink/frictionless materials). Plus of course getting used to a lot of things for the first time. I would say I adapted faster in general to ME2 then I did ME1, but specific missions reached greater difficulty for me in ME2.

3. I didn't find most of that difficult (I was  in full Spamguard mode), until I lost my bearings on where I was going and got blasted by the Reaper. Actually happened a lot and you have to plow through all those banshees and brutes again.

No one else joins. You'll be short by 2 squad members if both are dead.

That is actually one area ME3 totally surpassed ME2, the deaths. The deaths were heart breaking.

Yeah Raan just directs you via comms to cover the bits where Tali had to do stuff. You end up a squad member down (potentially you could be stuck with just Liara, EDI and Vega) and more importantly TALI WOULD BE DEAD! ARGH!

As another question, how does tali get introduced in ME3 if you got her exiled? I didn't and she is an admiral of sorts, but surely if shes exiled then she can't come back to the fleet!

I would agree, but mostly because they got more time and of course some were unavoidable (or almost unavoidable) which meant they spent more time on making sure they were hart breaking. 

The exception though sadly is Shepards death, due to the ending. The rest were very moving. Mordins probably touched me the most (of the ones I experienced in my game that is) having him sing his song and all that.

Same scene as before when you first see her, but the conversation alone with her's different.
