One of my favourite scenes in the trilogy. Was really surprised when it happened, I was hoping for another romance scene when I was told she wanted to see me, but this is just as awesome .

But I'm more surprised that this thread has been able to (sort of) talk about Tali for 1100 pages....

You managed to do it? I originally planned to do a full paragon and a full renegade playthrough, but watching some of the dick moves you can pull I don't think I'd be able to do it. Like betraying Mordin, and Tali . If I let Tali die I would probably delete all my saves, smash my xbox, and then shatter my ME3 disk so it never happened!

I'm sorry, I should clarify.  That was ME2.  It's much harder to be a jerkass on ME3.  Just too depressing.

Edit: I've never watched Tali's death scene for ME3, because honestly, I don't think I could look.  Besides, it's really unnecessary, considering the fact that you can get two fleets for the price of one.

Yeah I've played all thee ME's as mainly Paragon. I tend to live by the rule "don't be a dick." Plus in 3 a lot of the renegade options are not just selfish/dicky but tend to be evil. That said Shep for me will take the harsh choice when it is warranted. Examples:

- Shooting Udina
- Shiv to the back of that merc dude in ME2
- Shooting the doctor woman in the Arrival when she was gonna blow the place.
- Kai Leng death, no brainer there.

A few others, also in conversations I'd take the more renegade path when it made sense. Shep is a good guy but if you threaten his people he will come down on you hard. Hardest thing to not go renegade on was Gerrel after he tried to blow me up, but I supressed it because I needed the Quarian fleet.

And really, it's hard for me to see a pure renegade romance with Tali. She's not renegade at all. And I also have never watched the Tali death scene, and to be honest never plan to. I can't imagine doing anything to hurt Tali.

Agreed on all points, especially Udina and Kai Leng.  Although... In an ironic twist, my normally 100% paragon who romanced Ashley punched Admiral Gerrel.  He saw "being fired upon" as a betrayal.  But, my "canon Shep" who is basically me (about 90% paragon, 10% renegade, and romances Tali) didn't punch him, because he "cares very deeply about the quarian people."
