Yeah, Tali in ME1 has pretty good shields, and her other combat shortcomings can be fixed with better armour (the one and only reason to play Pinnacle Station: easy access to good quarian armour) and medical upgrades for health regen.Neverwinter_Knight77 wrote...
Maybe, but in ME1, she had that tech ability (which I maxed out) that adds more shields with each point. It stacked pretty high. In ME2... well, my main Shep is a vanguard, so I'm usually distracting the enemies.
In ME2 though... I'm usually an engineer myself, so while I'm sitting back incinerating everyone, she's climbing over cover and running straight into the path of rockets more often than not. I like that the squadmates in ME2 are more pro-active than in ME1 if you don't order them, but some basic self-preservation instinct would be nice.

Hmm...maybe it's the custom face that's throwing me off. Might also be Ashley and Kaidan. Don't get me wrong, neat characters but they PALE in comparison to Tali, Garrus and Wrex. Maybe I should redo the face and stick with Sheploo until ME2 then redo the face.
This is the one I was thinking of using, except tweaking a few things here and there(brown eyes, no cleft, younger looking skin, smaller neck and less pronounced jawline). Here's an image for convenience. Maybe make him less bulky looking too...dunno yet. All I know is that the conversion from ME2 to 1 looks...off.
*lolsnip*
Edit: Does that face look like a Talimancer's face to you? Looks more butch...dunno.
A Talimancer should.... I feel... be younger?

Has anybody wondered why Tali uses a shotgun instead of a rifle. I mean a shotgun is short range combat and there is the risk that the suit is somehow damaged. A long range weapon would be a far better choice.
On the other side Garrus has heavy body armor and can be equipped with assault/sniper rifle but not with a shotgun.

close quarters so long range weapons are pointless. Also, a shotgun
blast is less likely to punch a hole in your outer hull.

Well that's what I mean. I'd tweak the face a bit to make it younger and less...beefcake-like.

Yeah, that's a good point. Shotgun is a good weapon for close-quarters shipboard combat, like the Alarei mission.Calinstel wrote...

An assault rifle would also do this.
In my opinion the only practical explanation for her not to use a sniper riflle is that it could be difficult to look through the scope with her mask.

You should see what I have to work with for the ME2 to ME1 conversion for this face. It's...off.
I'll make a pic of it in a second.
Edit: Steam's screenshot management SUCKS, but here's the conversion...it's decent-ish:

The current ending is so vague you can make any interpretation fit. Especially if you assume that the child AI wasn't telling the whole truth, or if you go with the indoctrination theory.

He looks like my Shepard, Except with a wider Jaw. You should lessen the Jaw, make the Nose less wide, maybe make his eyes more alert, and he should look better, I think. (maybe his lips too idk)Ryuji2 wrote...

Not sure. I wish there were more hairstyle options and a beard option more like Joker's, or maybe even thicker. I wanted it to look more like me but my hair doesn't look like that and my beard's a forest compared to that stubble.
Irish/Native American genes ftw?

That's the thing. I'm terribad at cutomizing Shep for any ME game. One tiny tweak makes him look closer to Ugly Shepard, except less bald and...protruding.
