You can talk to her in an assignment in ME1 (only if you're a Spacer). It's quite easy to miss this assignment though (I did).gamer_girl wrote...
What are you smoking? I've never seen Shep's mother in the entire series.

I still would like to know what happend to my (Shepards) dad.
It would be interesting if suddenly, Shepard's father showed up out of nowhere after the reaper war was over.
"Dad? But I thought you passed away in battle!?"
"Dad? I thought you forgot all about me back on earth!?"
"Dad? But I thought the slavers killed you both back on the colony!"
Would make for a hell of a interesting plot twist. I can imagine tali will have some 3 or 4 letter words for him for being away from Shepard for so long.

Well you could have done something about it before I fell in love with her, you know, given you'd been involved in my life in even the slightest way. Too late now... Wait, did you even care that I died a few years ago?

And you get a rather strange "your alive????" message in Me2

I was a spacer, and hoped that i would get to see my mother. alas, was not to be.
I think Sheps mum would like Tali. Mine would anyway
I would guess that Shep's mom might be a little wary at first, like any parent, but would eventually come around and understand why Tali means so much to him.
Hmmm, died in the 1st contact war maybe? Or some other conflict? Maybe he cheated on his wife and ran off with a Batarian...lots of speculation for everyone!
I'd like to know too

Shepard finds a tombstone with his father's name inscribed on it and starts to cry in front of his team.
Luckily, Tali clicked the left mouse button before it went to hell and gave him a hug to pay him back.

Meh, it would be interesting, but I prefer one where he's alive and in front of Shepard. It would make for a more interesting confrontation. In the end, after Shepard and his father explain things, these 3 choices can decide what becomes of him.
Paragon = Forgive
Neutral = Weary towards him
Renegade = Shoot in the head
Edit: AGAIN!? Fine, whatever, ill stop breaking tradition and put a picture up. Geez, hang on...

At this point, I'd rather than the ending was me, holding tali close after the harbinger attack, just embracing her as we both die. Better than the crap bioware gave us. At least this way we are together.
I could see that...
Shep:Tali... I...
Tali:I know, and I've got you...
@sadface
Okay, that ending would have turned this 54 year old into a sobbing mess.
(Damn you, I can actually picture that scene AND hear Tali saying the words.)
I do have a picture but I'm on my phone so I cant post it. I will get it out later. But yes it would have made me cry.

I think what we saw on Haestrom was quarian architecture... Albeit in ruins... not to mention sun damage...

Probably at first it would be very practical, mostly derelict ships refurnitured, colony-like container worlds. But they would gradually build up, probably creating some works of architectural art after a while, especially in the form of relays and ships now that they cannot travel anymore. And not to forget the Tali'Zorah Memorial Tower about the Quarian Admiral lost to the stars that helped getting the homeworld back, the Normandy Recreational Area remembering the ship carrying their saviour, and the various Shepard homes and schools as well as the Commander Shepard Military Academy and the Shepard Consensus Center, the military and political center of Rannoch.
Maybe after we fought through the Rachni Civil War we can visit.
