Sorry, Tali aside, most of the Quarians are D-bags and the Geth were a much better asset (ideally I'd like to have kept her) but it screwed up my "true" playthrough back in ME2 with using Miranda instead of Jack for the shield.

Living as space nomads with scarce resources, exiled from your homeworld and discriminated against by the rest of the galaxy will probably make you a bit ornery.

...You know you can keep both right?

He probably didn't have enough Paragon or Renegade.

Huh...I wonder if stranded on a foreign planet without Shepard might not have the same effect. Especially since she maybe saw the Citadel blow up with him inside...

A nervous collapse would be reasonable.

How people manage to do this, I don't even know. The game literally hands you reputation just for breathing.

Could have been another reason:
Requirements
1) Played and imported your save game from ME2

2) Both Legion and Tali must have survived from ME2 and have been loyal.

3) Tali cannot have been exiled or she will not have the authority to help you get the choice you want when it comes time.

4) You must have saved the Admiral on the bonus mission you go to
destroy the reaper base on Rannoch. He will back your decision later
when you push for peace, if he's dead because you didn't save him, that
will be problematic as you might guess.

5) You must have enough Paragon and Reputation to unlock the choices even after meeting the other requirements.

6) When the time comes side with Tali and when Legion pleads with you to
reconsider, you will have a Paragon option to save both sides or a
Renegade option to Give the Fleet a heads up about Legion's plan. No
matter what happens Legion will always die. But part of his program now
lives in every non-enslaved Geth.

I still would like to know what happend to my (Shepards) dad.

Shepard finds a tombstone with his father's name inscribed on it and starts to cry in front of his team.

Luckily, Tali clicked the left mouse button before it went to hell and gave him a hug to pay him back.

You mean Renegade.:(

It's Renegade because it makes him feel like a total ass if he didn't hug her in the second game.Image IPB

If you destroy the heretic geth, the quarians end being the strongest of the two (835 points I think), plus the geth only become equal or stronger than the quarians if you implant them with reaper tech (and insane risk given what happens to factions who do that) and the quarians didnt betray every other species by joining the reapers, the geth did.

As joker says, the geth joined the reapers some even saw them as their gods they were foolish to expect trust after such a betrayal, even if such action resulted from a quarian attack it still has to make you think that they wouldnt have been reliable allies anyway seeing how they choose subjugation to the reapers, including assisting with killing other species when things got hard.

At this point, I'd rather than the ending was me, holding tali close after the harbinger attack, just embracing her as we both die. Better than the crap bioware gave us. At least this way we are together.

Tali:I know, and I've got you...

@sadface

nds that would have made me cry.
Okay, that ending would have turned this 54 year old into a sobbing mess.
(Damn you, I can actually picture that scene AND hear Tali saying the words.) :(

She takes a deep breath and, ignoring her suit's reading of contamination outside, pulls off her visor.
London smells of Burnt plastic and rubber, she takes a moment to adjust herself.
She kisses him deeply for a few seconds, his turning to meet hers for the last time...
His body begins to twitch as his brain is starved of oxygen, finally falling limp in her arms.

Leting her lower eyelids fall, tears begin to stream down her face...

And Legion can lie. It has Reaper tech in it. If the memories it showed us in the geth collective included views of the geth killing babies and children, something that must have happened during the morning war, then maybe I would be more inclined to believe the data presented was fully the truth.
But, that scene also shows the amount of trust Tali puts in Shepard. She pleads with him, true but, she could have just as easily killed Legion before Shepard could have stopped her.

Yes you can call him out on lying, shep says that geth should be better than this and legion says that seeing what happens in game that they are not.
I also found the consensus mission weird, "Shepard-Commander before moving forward you must see this completely unrelated video that shows geth in an extremely positive light"

Mind you it's pretty flaky the reasoning for Legion having to die to upload the code properly. One of those things just slipped in for plot reasons. You can get away with a certain amount of it mind.

Thanks for an ending that would've made me vastly more miserable than the horrible one that we did get.

If this was an ending, i would consider it to be the "bad" ending, where you fail to defeat the reapers / almost everyone dies.

You get a picture from her after the Rannoch missions.  This is bearing that you have romanced her and helped the Quarians.

If the ending had to be miserable, then this would be the way to go. This should totally have been one of the low score bad endings.
