I don't really hear that when I hear Liara talk. I hear a monotone voice that irks me if I listen to it for a while. Her character in of itself is alright, just don't like the voice if she has a lot of lines in a short time.

Some are capable of making glorious fan art.  Others can write stories well.  Most also have unique if not superior traits when compared to real-life.

Don't worry about it though.  Was merely thinking about it in a realistic manner.  Some of the pictures and responses I've seen made me chuckle, ill give you that.

Oh, doctor, I have a BIG conspiracy theory that your still alive!  Of course, obviously you will deny that you are alive and such, but the truth is, you are!

No body was found at the top of the dispersal unit for the genophage.  Traces of your blood were found, but not enough to possibly indicate your death.  Holes were found at the top of the building, but a extensive search around found no impact crater or parts of your body.  The elevator was also in the down position when we begun our inital search.  Plus, your posting on the fourm!  My diagnosis...

Upon discovering this tread about the absolutely magnificent Miss Vas Normandy i have waited to be able to post and hopefully contribute is your discussions about our favourite character in the ME series.

Perhaps. One would think that a voice wouldn't change too much. As it is, comparing her personality from 2 to 3 shows a big difference. She seems more like her ME1 self, just a bit more sarcastic. That voice is soothing, but again, after a while...I don't really want to hear it.

and I agree fully. Reminds me of the Rannoch dialogue where she removes her mask and you can hear her voice unfiltered. Amazing.

You kidding? Voices change a lot. One of the first features I notice - that and eyes and other facial features. Those are literally the biggest physical contributors for my attraction to someone.

Initially I just thought it was how Asari must talk (early on in ME1), but then I realised it seemed to just be Liara. Guess it's just her own unique style, some people must like it but it does nothing for me. But your right, Tali sounds by far the best. Kasumi wasn't bad either, but still a mile away from Tali.

I remember reading one that was a bit different, but was horrifying.  Imagine a quarian going through her pilgrimage with all the hardships, and during one of the hardships, they're taken in by someone.  But then that someone betrays them, sells them to a slaver and is violated.  It was a sad story...if I met a quarian such as that in real-life, I would never betray them such as that.  Heh, the quarians are a unique people...not sure how I would feel if I met one in real-life, though I probably wouldn't betray them unless they screwed around with me first, which doesn't happen 80% of the time.  Every species, no matter what color or physical traits they have, has their good and bad people.  It's an organic thing.

For those curious about what I read, it's called Reckoning.
